Musicals: Songs written for a musical
Animania: Favorite songs from a cartoon or an animated movie
Songs To Have Sex To
Film Song Spin-off: songs from films!
Burst-Into-Tears Spin-Off: songs that make you cry
Genre randomizer: I think everybody meanwhile understands how the randomizer thing works. However, people would suggest subgenres (that means for example garage-rock, post-rock, hard-rock instead of just 'Rock' which would be too abstract).
Album Song: Any song released on an album which was not released separately as a single.
Bubblegum Dance: Songs with cute lyrics and happy sounds.
Instrumentals: Well, instrumentals.
Suggestion: 1)Participants pick a country as usually
2)All the participants suggest songs for each participant (from the country they pick)
3)Each participant vote for the songs which are suggested to them in ESC style
4)The one with most points wins.

For example there are 20 participants. I pick Nigeria, AdelAdel picks USA, Lupus picks Colombia etc. I suggest songs (that I think they will like) to other 19 people from USA, Colombia etc. for them. Other 19 people suggest songs from Nigeria to me and we all vote for those songs and the one with the most points wins.

Comedy music: Music made by comedians or songs by non-comedians that you find hilarious
Heroes vs Villains: Ever wanted to send a crappy entry for someone and watch him or her suffer as he/she ends in bottom 3? Now it's your chance! You can either be a hero and send a good song for your mate, or a villain and absolutely kill their chances. There will be pairs of 2 (or 3, in case there is an odd number of participants). The pair doesn't have to be Hero vs Villain.
Former Sovereign States Spin-off: Because they matter (or did anyway) too! Now you can get the Mongol Empire and slay us all with your throat hit. No, the song doesn't have to be from the period that country existed. Oh, and former regions are allowed too.
Blind spin-off 2: We have had this before, but long time ago. All the players send a song secretly, we will only post that we are in but won't reveal our country/region (only the host will know everything, thus he/she won´t take part as a contestant) Besides the main event, we will also have a guessing game, where everybody guess who sent each song. So, it's in fact two spin-off in one, the song contest and the guessing game. Two possible winners! This game is based on trust and commitment of playing the guessing game.
National Divas: Send the biggest diva from your country/region.
Entrance Song: Choose the music you'd like to enter to!
Classical Covers: Reimaginations of classical music (such as my last WV entry) by modern musicians.
Slut Pop: a slutty lyric pop and/or a slutty video music.
Winter spin-off: The song must have something winter-related in the song title, for example: winter, snow, snowflakes, ice, snowman, etc.
Battle spin-off: The song must have something battle-related in the song title, for example: warrior, soldier, army, battle, war, sword, armor, shield, catapult, etc.
Girlbands spin-off
Nicknames Spin-Off: Songs with our nicknames (or at least a part of it)
Colourful Spin-off: Songs must have a colour, or something associated with colour in the title (Think how awesome the banners could be )
Love-less spin-off: Song NOT about love
Sexy spin-off: Song or/and music video must be hot

I think that the point is that the host IS the third party. Hence why I will be vigorously opposing that option as I enjoy the spinoffs and don't really want to miss one.

Can we send a song that have been released as an single, if the single-release happened after the album came out?

Example: Five Finger Death Punch made an album that came out in 2013 where the song House of the Rising Son was included. House Of the Rising Son got re-released as an single in 2014. Would that song be ok?

Wouldn't that make it unnecessarily complicated? We essentially have 3 hosts for a spin off if this wins then. It would seem easier that just 1 person hosts so the others can take part? especially for a theme such as that. If they both want to take part, then they shouldn't host and let someone else who doesn't mind skipping an edition host. Obviously we'll have to decide at time, should this win, but that's just my opinion.

Agree with Ashley. If this suggestion wins a person who doesn't necessarily want to take part should host it and everybody else shall be part of the "game"

The only thing is [MENTION=11993]whiteshoes[/MENTION] and [MENTION=12078]AshleyWright[/MENTION], it's a little unfair to say to me and [MENTION=12553]Krishoes[/MENTION] (well, more Kris than me as he is the one who actually accepted hosting) that we can either host or play the next spinoff. We can hardly defer hosting, so it's not fair on us really. Hosts are normally allowed to join in.

How about this as a solution: I don't see what's wrong with us hosting and playing the first part, but just not guessing who sent what, as obviously we will know. The guessing part is just for fun really, as if we have two winners; who gets to host next edition? Which takes priority? To me, it would surely be person who sent the winning song, not the one who guessed the most correctly. People can still guess which countries we are so everything would still work alright and we get to actually join in as if it were a normal spinoff.

Well, I thought hosting a show would rather be a burden than a fun thing to do but if you really like to host and are okay with not playing the guessing game I think you can do like you suggested.

The idea of a blind spin off is that no one knows who sends what song, otherwise it's not a blind spin off. You've both been in the suggestions thread recently and i'm sure you've both seen Cesar's suggestion and how popular it was. So there was a good chance it would win, It's just how the theme goes. I don't think it's unfair at all, because that's how the theme works. I'm not bothered about the guessing part, that's just for fun. It's the song part and the idea is that no one is suppose to know who sends which song, apart from the host.
