ok. Let's make a deal. When all of them (Lucian, Cooler, Nikolay etc.) announce when exactly they will come in August, I ll try to adjust my time too, so Isabella, we can make some plans about our esc-fan meeting:), like what places we will visit in Zagreb etc. Do you agree, Isabella?:D

Of course I agree, but first let's see if they will come to Zagreb  I can take you to some fun places

Yay!! Welcome ;)! It's the best weekend to visit Brussels ;). And Brussels - Antwerpen is about 40 minutes by train!

Thanks Seb!:D
Why it is the best weekend to visit Brussels? Beacause the ESC final will be that weekend (14th), or something else happens on that weekend?
Yes, Antwerpen seems really close on map too. 40 min is cool, I used to spend 2 hours only to university before...:))))
And one additional plan (still not sure about this one), my friend from Belgrade will be in Dusseldorf while I'm in Brussels, so we talked that maybe we could meet in Luxembourg for coffee! Maybe we'll do that, cause we'll have same distance to Lux. and it's not very far either!

Your welcome!

It's the pride weekend :D (http://www.thepride.be/en/)!

Yeah, it's really close! There are 5 or 6 trains an hour as long as you take an IC-train, P-train or the IC to Amsterdam, you are in Antwerpen-Centraal in about 40 minutes. (IR-trains take an hour and the L-train is just horrible) Two hours to university ! Wow that's long! If you are planning to come to Antwerp, I can give you more info if you want :D.

That's a cool plan! Never been there, but I think it's nice. But which Luxembourg? The Belgian Luxembourg or The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg? I'm pretty sure both are accesible by train from Brussels.

Anyways have fun ;)!

^Wooow, that's awesome news (about pride), I had no idea there will be one for that weekend:D Thanks for information, Seb! I'll definitely go and see what happens there and maybe have some fun!
I checked about trains/timetables/prices at b-rail.be. I can say Belgium has really fast trains;)
For Luxembourg - we meant G.D.Lux, it's only 3h by train (according to b-rail), which is acceptable distance if we manage to get up before 9!:D
If I'd need more info on Antwerp, I'll ask u;)
Thanks, u're really nicexkiss

Your welcome!

It's the pride weekend :D (http://www.thepride.be/en/)!

Interesting, I didn't even know that! Eurovision and pride, not a bad combination. That probably means though that there won't be much post-eurovisiony entertainment in Antwerp the 14th though. :?

@ Interrail
Welcome indeed! And like Seb suggested, Antwerp is definitely worth a visit!

On topic:

@Seb - do u know perhaps is there going to be some public watching of the ESC final in Brussels, like big TV screen in some caffe or some open area (maybe I'm hoping for too much, lol)? Would ppl in Brussels watch it, at all?

I've looked it up and you can watch it live @Beursschouwburg in the Ortstraat at 19.00. It's close to the Grand Place and it's in the city center (http://www.thepride.be/agenda/prideday/).

Well, living so far from the rest of the continent, travelling from where I live doesn't come cheap or easy. After all, I would have to travel almost 2000 kms just to get to Oslo, and flying is the only option since we don't have railroads so far north. Anyway, I've been to:

:de: ( xheart I'm in love with Bayern, I've been to germany 4 times)
:fi: (mosquitoes! LOTS of them!)
:dk: (OK vacation, nothing spectacular)
:en: (Went to London, loved it!)
:se: (waste of time, most boring vacation ever)
:at: (Alps! Hiking! Yay!)
:ru: (just briefly for a couple of minutes, funny story including getting a warning shot from a boarder patrol)

Would like to visit:
:us:
:jp:
:is:
:sc:
:ie:
:ch:
:fr:
:it:

Plus, I would like to see even more of my own country  and the :de: and :at: alps. And yeah, the rural side of :en:

Thanks, one day I'll get there! And no need to worry about watching the ESC in Brussels, I expect it to be on every screen of every gay bar that night. ;)
