Which state have you been in the US ?

And that's wrong, there are lots of good countries not requiring visa for us, such as Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia from Europe, as well as Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, most of Latin American countries and if you have money enough, you can stay in The Bahamas up to 8 months without visa requirement :D

If i get my visa I will be in Turkey for around 5,5 months. The Turkish embassy was really scare though as they took away my passport until they tell me if I can get the visa. Am I the only one who thinks it is not normal?

 They took away your passport? For what? :? What does it have to do with visas, anyway?
Are you going on some student exchange program?

I think it has something to do with checking if I have a valid passport, but done in a totally unnecessary way. And yes I am going to first learn some Turkish language and then study in an University.

I heard that certain employers confiscate passports from immigrants, so they cannot leave, but I never heard of the embassy confiscating passports :?

That's weird. Did you try to ask them ?

Let me know if you need something here. I'm just a high school student but I'll do my best. :D

Wait, so they took your passport before they even process your visa? Or is that part of the visa processing? Aren't they supposed to know things like that just by looking at it.

When I applied for my long term stay visa for France, they did take my passport, not to look whether it is valid or not, but to process the visa, and the consulate returned it within a 10 days.

Boston, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont and passed by some others and i got back like 4 days ago or so :D

Well, you are right about Russia, Ukraine, Serbia and Croatia but all others would cost you a FORTUNE and just 4 countries is nothing compared to EU countries that have access to all others.

I'll go to Batumi in Georgia very soon, the tour costs 50 tl for one day and neither passport nor visa required, plus it's near my city, Trabzon.

Yes we've lifted the borders with Georgia. :D we can visit it as if we visit our hometown or something. Batumi is great indeed, full of historical architecture. Have a good time there. Don't forget to take some photos :p

It's interesting that you did not prefer coastal vacation places unlike %90 of tourists but small cute historical places, any reason for that ? :D
