I didn't like Siliva Night, either. Actually I thought the studio version was catchy and kinda fun however the live performance was a disaster. It was a failed attempt in humor and I'm glad that Europe didn't go for it.

But in general I say "No" to booeing, it is disrespectful. Of course I don't agree with some of the song choice or the voting. Do I get annoyed at Cyprus/Greece, Moldova/Romania etc exchang points every year? Absolutely but instead of booeing, just don't clap or cheer for them. It would be even more powerful if the audience wouldn't respond at all...silence can be very powerful :D

Wether or not you agree with a song or voting, booeing is poor sportsmanship.

Agree!
Was their actually a reason why the audience booed so loud during the voting last year?
Even when San Marino gave 12 to Italy, which everyone expected:p

Mob mentality maybe? I have no clue but I was bothered by it. I was there and just wanted to scream "Shut up, everyone". Lots of cheering though when Austria and Switzerland gave Germany high points.

I think the bigger the hall, the more booeing we'll have.

It's more than just an act, Silvía Nótt is a character on a TV show. It would be the same thing if say Grynet competed in the ESC as Grynet and not as Elin (the girl behind the character). Ágústa Eva (who plays Silvía Nótt) was in full character mode the entire time.

I loved Silvia Night. :D

the "ugly fu..ing old bi.ch from sweden" comment about carola just made me love her lol
