The one where you're with Big Smoke and have to kill those guys on the train. I never made it on time, those guys have MASSIVE amounts of health SOOC I tried various ways of doing it, but with no effect. Because of this, I never finished GTA SA.

You never finished it? I'm about to finish it for the 345678th time! However in my latest game I don't know what happened but I had to play that mission about 7-8 times! :?

The trick on this one is to drive on the outer line of the tracks so that Big Smoke can actually hit those guys on the train.

^ I thought Niko was Ukranian or something! Then why is Ruslana there?

 And the station is Vladivostok FM... Which is russian. Ah those Americans really messed it up! :p

They wanted him to be Serbian, but they messed everything up so he indeed looks more like a ex-soviet person than a person from :rs:  , but as I said, I liked the idea itself, although they should have made it a lot better. The only sentence they got correctly is "u picku materinu", and I better don't translate that here!

Well I tried that, but I'm not really that good of controlling a bike in SA, and the train keeps speeding up from time to time, also I lose the train a lot on curves :?

Seriously, it's obvious that Niko is either Serbian or Bosnian, he fought in the Balkan war. And he clearly states that he's not Russian. The actor's voice acting is a totally different story, though.

The developers mixed a lot of things, and that is my point. Alca noticed that very good. He's from :rs: but has a totally Russian accent and those Serbian sentences from the game are uttery hillarous (except one or two examples). And Rockstar claimed before they officially released it that the lead character is of Serbian nationality.

Also Niko is not a name that originates from the ex-yu region. As a Serb myself, I had to note it. I mean, if they wanted to push a story like this they could've at least pay more attention to this detail. I watched a lot of movies where Russians are portrayed as bad guys, and there are some lines where they are supposed to be speaking Russian, but that is not Russian at all, that is some sort of like.........some ancient Indian language  I know Russian as well, and that is what I saw.

Btw, speaking of missions in San Andreas, I always had a looot of trouble in the last mission, after you kill Big Smoke and when you have to chase Tenpenny in the fire-truck, place the car beneath the ladder and catch Sweet from falling off the truck. I had a lot of re-tries until i managed to beat this mission.

And also, in Vice City, I had a lot of trouble on those missions where you have to navigate those small RC helicopters. It was so damn hard for me get into the correct shape and beat those missions.

Oh God I totally hated them back then! A few months ago I replayed Vice City and I have to say I had no trouble at all with this one!

Unfortunately, I don't have SA anymore
Ahh :( :p

I will definetly try it out. Although, I have to note that I didn't even play the original yet :D

Also, I believe this is the right place for the question - Does any of you have PS3 or Xbox 360? Which one is better? I am interested in getting one of these two consoles and any experience would really help me out.

I would not only buy it for gaming, but for multimedia also. I have more faith in PS3, since it is a brand, but after reading some discussions on the web I am really puzzled and have no clue which one to buy.

So if anyone could help me on this, I would kindly appreciate it.

I have both consoles. My PS3 is forever collecting dust as I never use it.. thats mainly because all my friends are on Xbox 360 plus the online experience is a lot better. You do have to pay a yearly subscription. It's very much worth it though i'd say. PSN is free but not great in comparison.

However the PS3 has a lot more exclusive games being released for it today. There aren't that many notable exclusives being released on the 360 anymore besides the shooters.. Gears of War, Halo etc. Most games are multi platform nowadays anyway so it's not so bad. There are plenty of older games exclusive to the 360 which are worth a look.

PS3 plays blu ray, that might be important to you?

I just find PS3 such a hassle. Every month there seems to be massive compulsory updates which take an age to download. The games themselves often require large, time consuming updates. My brother bought Need for Speed the other day and before he could even play it he had to download a ridiculously large update which took more than an hour. Xbox updates are literally no longer than 30 seconds usually.

So basically i'd say Xbox is the smoother ride but PS3 has the bigger, more varied library of games. What type of games are you into? That should be probably the biggest decider as to which console you go for.

Who tried the new Tomb Raider? xcheer

I actually bought it the other day....... then took it back to the shop and got a refund:lol:

I literally wouldn't have touched the game once Bioshock was released. I do want to play it eventually. I'll just buy it when it's cheaper.

^ God I need a new super-laptop! I couldn't play IV on the one I have now so I seriously doubt if I'll be able to play this one.

I finished San Andreas for the 4567283th time! I need to play IV!

That was really helpful, thanks a lot xcheers :D

I also think that PS3 has much better exclusives. I only played Halo 1 from XBox exclusives and it was like.........OK, but I definetly wouldn't buy a console to play it. On the other hand, God Of War is an impressive game and that one is a completely different story :D

Personally, Blu-Ray is not something that is important for me, but it is a nice feature.

Based on this description, I think PS3, even though more expensive, is a better solution for me. I am mostly into action adventures, platformers and FPS. I do like games like PES, FIFA and NBA as well and even Need For Speed, but, for some reason, I tend to avoid RPG and RTS games, even though there are some really good titles that I play from those genres as well :D

Also, on which console do you have a better multimedia experience? Can both consoles use services like YouTube for example? And which formats do they play (mp3, avi, etc....)?

Also, last question......can you play pirated games on them ()? In :rs: we head for pirated games like........almost all the time  Since the standard is not good and the originals are expensive, so we usually download games from torrents or some other websites. I heard there are chips that are added into a console but that question is also quite tricky, as these newer consoles, as far as I understood, can't run the newer games with this chip added (I mean on the pirated versions), and also I heard that on XBox 360, if you go to the LIVE service after playing a single pirated game, they ban your console. Is it true?

I think it's impossible NOT to release it on PC...

I played IV on Xbox for a while and I find it difficult to control the car with the controller. But then again, the gameplay of IV is much more difficult than SA...
