We've taken our unplanned break, taken the time to refresh and cool down - sometimes a lil break is all that is needed. Anyways, what we're saying is that we're back. Funnily enough before we left we had some planned entries, now we've told them singers we're bo longer interested and instead been puzzling about what song to actually send. We've gone through our extensive database of songs, some very typical of HoD, some not. Instead we've decided this edition we're gonna break the trend and go with something slightly different. We had this suggested to us a month or 2 ago, and added it to our database with no concrete plans to send it. Now we feel it is the time. We're really feeling it this edition. Below is a series of emojis hinting at our entry.

Have you ever spent ages hunting down an entry, took longer on that to decide and then setting your heart on that one song - only to then discover after making that massive choice that the song was already sent. Yeah well that's just happened to us. After going through all our potential entries and PQ opportunities we decided on a collab between a Puerto Rican singer and a Turkish singer, we spent a hot minute perfecting the music video and went to send it all in. Only to discover it was sent over 100 editions ago. Throwing us all back to square one.

Surprise. x We're back with our previous HoD, he came back home to us after a short stint in Sweden. We might forgive
him for daring to have the cheek to leave us in the first place. Anyway, now with his returning entry. There was 2 songs
we were contemplating sending to 170, one from a singer we've never sent before and another from a singer we've
already sent more than once before from this juror. After some table throwing, wig snatching and a death threat or 2 we
decided to go with the singer we've never sent before. She's a singer famous for another song and for all the wrong
reasons. We're not sending THAT song, but this one is remarkably different. We hope some of you will enjoy it. Now who is
the singer? Well, we always like to keep that a mystery. But we will post some emojis below so you can try and figure
out what it could possibly be...
As quickly as 170 is over, 171 is beginning and as such, we've already made our artist selection. It's someone who we have
sent before, originally he lured the Pot F with the intro before putting them all into a coma with the song - and it's not a good
Whoopi Goldberg style faint coma x. Well, hes back collabing with another artist from a European country to deliver another
hit. We wont say who it is, although some of you may be able to figure it out. What we will do though, in our new style
is post an emoji that represents our entry:

We are no longer confusion. After digging through our an expansive list of submissions, some still sat there
from when we first took over Western USA in the 70s, we decided to pick a fun little hit from the year 2009. This
song has been previously considered as a Western USA, and a couple of you with good memories may well
recall it. We think it's the ideal choice for our edition in San Diego. Below is a hint at the song.
Phew, we're happy to be able to relax after the hosting extravaganza we've all just gone through xo. Not for too long though,
as the selection for our next entry is well under way. By under way, what we mean is chosen and already submitted. Someone
who shall not be named for many reasons once proclaimed "Sex Sells". Well we thought we'd along that line for this upcoming
edition. Lets find out how well it sells. Below is a hint, probably the most obvious yet.
