It's not about a good result, it's about Sweden finally, finally sending a slightly more original song than what they've chosen in the past few years. Just look at how imaginative Popular, This Is my Life or You-uuh-oouh were

Sweden could have sent such an un-Swedish entry (in relation to what we usually get from them), but instead we ended up with another narcotizing power ballad that was clearly made for the jury. They almost fell for it

I agree, sending Ace would have been so fresh

I do wonder what would happen if Norway went with "High Hopes" hmm

As much as I like it, Norway doesn't exactly have a good record when their entries didn't win their respective semi in MGP...

I think Germany should go back to "Unser Song für ..." to support young fresh artists. But known acts should also be allowed to enter. That worked best for them, and I hope they go back to it, since they are jeopardizing yet again.

For Austria, it is the best to stick to internal selection. There is a great, vibrant music scene, but the public would still always vote for the wrong song.

Thinking back of what could have been from 2011 until 2013, it's kinda sad.
