Hey, i've got a little question. I was just wondering why I can't seem to upload gif avatars anymore? It was one of the perks before for subscribers, and my previous gif avatar still worked after the forum makeover. I'm trying now to upload a new picture with a bit of sparkle to it, i'm keeping it below the 390.6 KB requirements but it doesn't seem to be working

Please let me know what message you're receiving when updating it. I'll look into it.

Thanks Matt. Well, i'm getting no message actually. It successfully uploads but not as a gif. I've tried uploading it from my computer, as well as trying to link it from my imgur account. I need my glittery things to survive

I errrrm.... feel really stupid now You were right. The image got resized and that was what made it lose it's animation. I was uploading a picture that was 150x150. I feel so silly now. Sorry for wasting your time, but thank you for helping me out

Sorry for late reply, I am a bit more busy recently

It is a feature introduced as security measure it cannot be disabled, it's enabled for everyone (including admins & global mods)
