I was trying to give the song the benefit of the doubt but it is so flat, not even any sort of bridge or climax. Unless they can pull out brilliant staging and live performance this is bottom 5 material.

It´s totally alright - I think that the verses sound really great.. the song is also quite catchy (the 2nd part of the chorus is quite annoying, though) and overall, the song doesn´t provide a single highlight.. it´s just "there".
I will probably listen to it when I buy the compilation but it´s very radio-friendly without being competitive at all.

I was praying for the UK to have a killer track to finish Top 10 to improve the contest´s credibility and popularity among the British public in a year in which the UK is hosting the event.

But I can´t think of televoters actually picking up their phone for THAT song.
They will heavily rely on the juries in the GF (and it´s not really a quality entry either).

I wasn't wowed by space man as a radio track but I could see the potential for a great live performance. This doesn't come across a song that will come across well live at all. I am actually stunned at how crap this decision is. I guess last year was our Michael schulte not our Anouk.
