I'm pretty sure Jemini did worse since they got Nul Points.
True that, I forgot about them but I believe it was 100% jury vote if I'm not mistaken???

Wikipedia cites a dead link (because it's on ESCToday) that states that the United Kingdom got Nul Points from the Irish televote as well.True that, I forgot about them but I believe it was 100% jury vote if I'm not mistaken???
1) I highly doubt that's why. Jemini were out of tune... constantly. And the song wasn't good either. Would you have given it any points?Eurovision 2003 was just 8 weeks after the invasion of Iraq and that was pretty unpopular in Ireland so that explains the lack of points from them that year .
The United Kingdom's 'friendly' votes have definitely gone down since the Juries came in. It is a shame that the same cant be said for other countries who have 'friends'.
7/8 points in 2010, really? Ireland seems much less preoccupied with giving the U.K. free points than you seem to believe. They gave you guys 8 points in 2008 and 7 in 2007 and at least those songs weren't performed by Jemini 2.0 Solo Version.Regardless of what the songs were like Ireland would have given us much larger points than they have 50/50. I would guess 2009 12, 2010 7/8, 2011 10/12, 2012 8.

And they gave you 10 in 2009. I daresay that number would've been lower had the juries not been there. Also, that's hardly something to be proud of, an alleged automatic 7-8 point swap with Ireland each year.^ They are, because of the Juries. Before the Juries, it was 8 in 2006, 7 in 2007, 8 in 2008...
Political, obvs.
No, boring song.
