This song is nowhere near as good as "One love", "Curtain falls", etc.
Sorry I have to disagree - what I like about this song is it's something Blue might have released the first time around. It wouldn't feel out of place on one of their albums - which comes as a pleasant surprise because I half expected they'd try to do an old fashioned song to fit a long gone idea of what Eurovision is. I can understand it won't be everyone's style but it is very good at what it is - a solid, well sung pop song.

Getting just over 10% from one of the countries that has voted the highest for UK songs historically should actually be very worrying for the 'Vote Blue' camp.

No it's for people all over Europe and anyway, achieving over 1/10 of the whole vote is brilliant imo - it means less than 9/10 has to be shared out betweem the other 40 odd countries altogether.

Imo, this is the best commercial entry of the contest. I'm not sure if it wins but it will be in the top-5 and they will be faved by the juries, imo.

I have been no fan of Blue in the past but I think this represents an extremely credible entry for the UK. It's a catchy number which does grow on repeated listening but with a strong and simple chorus. The guys fully look the part and a quick search through you tube confirms their calibre as live performers. Already their entry has attracted much more press coverage in the UK than the Eurovision would usually attract at this stage which has to be a positive in a country where the press has encouraged a less than respectful attittude to all things Eurovision in recent years.

Key will be whether Blue promote this across Europe prior to the competition. The song isn't due to be released until May and this strikes me as a mistake.

Ultimately if this flops I think it will be nigh on impossible for the BBC to get anyone who has ever got passed the first auditions on the X Factor to represent the UK

Yup, I have nott seen the UK this strong since....well 1981 and Bucks Fizz. It Would be nice if the they won this year, maybe / hopefully it will change "some" attitudes towards this competition in the UK, even though there's this guy whatshisname, who always talks ESC down. I'm not much for "boy bands", but in light of the competetition this year, I belive this entry has a very good chanse to take it all the way.

That was an amazing performance by Blue...just shows they have fantastic vocals. Lee outdid himself compared to the first time they performed it on the Graham Norton show. I just hope they stick with the original choreography as it really matches the song...

I would say that our strongest moment was probably 1997 with Katrina And The Waves. What a night that was :)

It is really safe to bet on them that they can win the whole thing. I will be more than happy if this wins, because it will be one of my favourite songs that actually ends up winning :D

this reminds me of tatu (for russia) few years ago...established, well known performer...they ended up 2nd that year if I'm not mistaken, mostly cause of the band popularity while the song itself was like in this case...not so special (blue had better stuff)...

so, I'm predicting same destiny for blue - 2nd, 3rd place...

I'm willing to bet with any of the British posters on here about this - an open call out, if you will. This is especially towards MrJadeEwen and MyHeartIsYours. I am willing to wager that Blue will not be top three, and if they are I stop posting. If you join in and you lose, you stop posting. Bring it.

I used to be quite a big fan of Blue, when I was younger. And this song was a pleasant surprise. I'm happy to see them performing again. 10 points from me.
