What's up with all the whining from various people? "Overrated" is a personal impression, just like the liking of a song is.
If I rly dislike a song, take Sweden and Saade for example, but I read in the Swedish thread here on the forum about how many ppl who like it, or I see the betting sites where it might have placed high, or, I can't for the world see how anyone in the WORLD can like a song like that, I may then see it as "Overrated" compared to where it is on my personal top20 list or whatever.

This is just like other peoples "taste" it differs variously.

If I would reply to every comment where someone has taken a fancy of a song I haven't, or vice versa, I wouldn't have anything else to do but replying, and there would probably not be much time left to work on.

The only whining I see here is yours

Hungary is one of the countries slated to win. So, there's definitely a big hype about it. BUT, I think that the high ratings for this song is well deserved since it's a well crafted song.

Hungary is indeed one of the favourites to win. It's not that I completely disagree with it, cause I think it isn't a bad song at all, but it's soooo cliche! I have the feeling I've heard it hundred times before. It's a good song, but I can't discover anything special in it. I have rated it between 10 - 15 place in my top 43, so I don't think it's bad at all. But I can't imagine that many people describe it as a masterpiece, because it's one of the most average songs of this year. That's why I think it's overrated.

^I personally like it, but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece (or any songs this year for that matter). Still, the elements that the musical arranger/lyricist/etc put together work well together, that's why I call it a well crafted song. I can totally see this in the 10's instead of 1-9 position, especially if her live voice isn't too great. Personally, her voice on the recorded version is what unites all these artistic elements together. (other songs like Belarus's, Sweden's, Norway's song, don't need a good voice to be considered a good song). So, if her voice fails to deliver, the song will flop.

Hungary has a great song...if she sings well on the night, it could do very well indeed. Its in my personal top 5 (in fact top 3) so....
