Oh my boi Melovin not a cringy English floppop song again

So much wasted talent
It could have happened once but surely, someone must have told him that him singing in English isn't flattering at all?

I guess it's still his dream to become an international popstar. But he sounds so much better in Ukrainian and also if he steps away a bit from these catchy poptracks. His darker and more emotional side feel more natural to me.

This is the Melovin I'd like to see (starts at 4:25):

With that song it sounds like Melovin is aiming to keep Cezar's legacy alive in Malmö

YAKTAK - kudos for being different, but it reminds me the boy from our JESC selection

Ingret has a strong song but it won't appeal to the masses. I like the lyrics. My personal #3.

NAZVA - the song title implied it will be a clown entry and they failed even at that)).

ANKA - can't wait for the revamp. Awesome for someone who didn't get into broadcaster's top 10. My personal #5 or #6.

Drevo - the last place of Vidbir is secured.

alyona alyona & Jerry Heil - xlove the staging will be awesome and with operatic backing vocals this will be a strong ESC entry. Very sincere, not plastic or calculated.

Melovin - totaly different from his previous attempts. Uptempo dance and vocals showoff. But the lyrics is so mediocre. He reminded me Michael Ben David going rave at some point. He won't win.

Skylerr - When God Shut the Door of this year. I liked the snippet more than the whole song.

Ziferblat - totally their style and I kinda like it. But I hoped it would be something more daring.

YAGODY - xlove I want them in the top 2 pls xheya

NAHABA - I was expecting industrial ethno, not this t.A.T.u. screaming mess

Ingrid instant :12: I can see myself putting it ad my number one in May, tbh.
It gave me goosebumps. I love the eerie and dark arrangement and her flawless and hauntingly beautiful voice. It was already perfect before the Ukrainian verse kicked in but it lift it to another level. Absolutely breathtaking. What a song!

Melovin :10: honestly, it could have been another 12 poins from me but the lyrics are kinda cringe-worthy and his pronunciation and enunciation is slightly off-putting at parts but it's a great track. What a surprise.

Drevo :3: I guess? I can't say much about it. Its listenable but there's nothing captivating in his track.

Nahaba :4: a below average t.A.T.u. Wannabe track but very noisy and not that catchy.

Listening to alyona alyona and Jerry Heil now. Another instant :12:
Finally!! We got the first very competitive and high quality NF of this year's season. Norway comes close but it's the first NF which gives me the impression that the broadcaster is in it to win it!

I agree! This song feels way more organic and less formulaic than Jerry's last entry (which was good as well!!). Alyona's verse gives it a nice twist. Top 3 televoting material.

Anka :10: another competitive and interesting and compelling entry. I'm so glad it won the wildcard! It could have been :12: if the ending didn't feel a bit repetitive? But that's a minor thing.

Probably the biggest surprise of the whole Vidbir to me. I loooove it. But televoters will butcher it + the running order buried her chances. I totally see a dark choreo and black & white gamma for the staging.

:5: Hahahahahahah Slavic English.
Brrrrrrriliant.
As a half Slavic person, I think it's really entertaining for a fun entry but in a NF with so many great songs, this shouldn't have any chance to win (hopefully). Do I want to listen to it again? Not really...

:10: Skylerr: Love the clock sounds, the arrangement is absolutely incredible and it's totally up my alley. Absolutely fantastic way to finish an entry. Indeed, it sounds a bit like "When God Shut the door" but I don't mind it.

Yagody
Incredible intro. It would slay in May! It's memorable and makes you linger wiating for the song to fully blow you away.
Beautiful arrangement, incredible pacing in the song and it sounds very genuine and authentic.
The chorus is quite new age-y and can be universally understood. Winner alert (if we ditch the unprofessional juries voting down daring entries with local flavours). Another instant :12: Maybe my favourite?

I didn't expect to be blown away like that.
It's a perfect Eurovison entry, tbh.
I believe teleovting in May would not neglect that entry.

I checked Yaktak's songs out before the competition because he was named one of the favourites to win the televoting due to his popularity. I wasn't really fond of anything and I expected him to low-key speak/rap and being accompanied by a guitar but this entry kinda slaps and is very catchy and invited you to dance?
It's not as brilliant as the entries by Yagody, aloyona/Jerry or Ingrid but it's super addictive and makes me wanna listen to it all over again (like Nozzy Bossy did).
It's another entry which is competitive and could perform well in May if you ask me.
:10: for now.

Ziferblat are alright and brings something different to the table but it's nothing to write home about. That's a song I would have loved to hear from the UK like 10 years ago? :5:

Listening to Yaktak again. That's basically the Belgian Stromae entry fans have been wishing for to happen for more than a decade.
