A few weeks ago I had this in the bottom 4 of the top 43. But it grew on me a lot and boy that performance was mesmerizing! I'm really glad she made it and I'm pretty sure she will fight for the first place on Saturday!

More than twice the amount of views as anyone else from that semi. And the like/dislike ratio is much better than her other videos. Maybe not all is lost.

And this is going on: Now (short after midnight) it's already over 32000, next is Poland with about 17000.
We shouldn't overestimate this, but still it's a good sign. People continue to be interested in this song.

Second half! xcheer

Why can't I watch the press conference? On YouTube it says it would be blocked in my country. WTF, I'm living in Germany?!

The live stream of the show is also blocked in Germany. That makes more sense but since the press conference isn't broadcast on TV, it's strange they block that too.

Everything is possible. But again, i expected weak performance and bookies flop after semi. So not feeling disappointed. I even know that she'll draw first half.

2nd half, baby! Jamala is in for the win!

Oh thank God tbh xfaint I didn't want her in the first half! xyaay

What can I say? Ukraine, you're just in another league this year. Jamala was the highlight of the night, no doubt. It was so moving, so real, so original too.
I sensed the same magnetic feeling as for Suus and Love Injected, which is a good sign for me.

I truly hope people see the light and take Jamala to victory. This is what the contest needs: real songs, meaningful lyrics, an artistic vision and wonderful performances. Thank you for your stellar contribution, this was the first time I heard the song, but it may well become my favourite Ukrainian entry ever (Alyosha would better fear for her crown ).

I look forward to the grand final: Russia, France, Australia, Armenia, and others... This is all bland plastic compared with 1944. Go Jamala! Slay them all! xqueenbitch xcheers

Actually i do understand the appeal of Ukraine it just don't move me, don't get me. I don't like the melody, I don't like the chorus, the verses are quite "normal". I can feel there's a message but i don't feel any musicality from it and I guess that's the point of the song to be a powerful piece of.. sound but not an actual song with a robotic construction. I can't enjoy it. btw As I can also feel the message, I just feel "bad" after it, like it's taking the joy out of my body and I don't need that actually :D

One of the occasions where I prefer a live performance in Eurovision over the studio version on my ipod xlove

The song just doesn't do much for me. I can imagine she is this political image in the competition like Conchita was which keeps her in

Yesterday quite a few commentators on Slovenian forum(s) resented the political message of this song. Russia actually enjoys quite a positive public opinion in my country, so I wasnt surprised that they negatively reacted to this song... Perhaps she will get some jury points from Slovenia, but surely 0 from the Slovene televote.

Why? I think that Russians still feel for Ukrainians despite the conflicts. I am sure you will get points from Russia tomorrow. Besides, isnt ESC a great opportunity to show to politicians how stupid they are by making/creating all those unnecessary wars among people? Look only at Serbia and Croatia: despite 10 years of war that ended 17 years ago, today everyone lives on, and they reward each other almost every year with 12 points. So, take their example and make a statement: no to the politics of hatred :)
