been a while an austrian club went kinda far in Europe, i remember Austria Wien's quarterfinals 04/05 as the last mentionable thing.

Too bad Fowler isn't playing for Liverpool anymore. Sure 4-3 will be nice. I would hope Stevie to score twice and Torres twice, that makes 4!

The only problem is we aint good enough this season...Lucas is a regular and Benitez is a manager..his tactics were poor today...should have started with aquialani and babel..but hes just an idiot..
not many players like him in dressing room i hear..and you can tell by the body language..i mean look at gerrard,he wants changes...and so do i! grrr

No, I actually didn't knew that he was playing in Australia. :shock: I thought he was retired. Yeah, he and Owen were quite a team before.

The thing with Liverpool that I don't like is that they constantly buy some new random players and change the roaster occasionally. You can see that Gerrard is playing well, but at times he struggles and it is mainly because of those new players. And I think it was a big mistake selling Dudek and Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid. :? Now he and Gerrard were quite a team in the middle, not to forget his torpedos from 20 meters distance. Benitez did some good things in Liverpool, one winning the CL title after they were losing 3-0 and two once again going into the CL final. I think everyone in Liverpool now would like to win the Premier League, rather than CL. Benitez cannot manage that apparently, and neither did Houllier. I think next season we can see Liverpool as a strong candidate for the title. Right now, it looks like they will miss on placing themselves in one of the first 6 places that leads them to the Euro cups.

Yes ur right...well ur right about Alonso..and evcen though Dudek was a good keeper,i prefer Reina,he is in fact LFC's best signing alongide Torres last few years..
I dont see LFC as strong contenders next season nless there is some sort of takeover or we get new manager with enough allowance to buy decent players,not fringe players...
how i would LOVE if DZEKO joins LFC! :twisted:
anyway this season?well we will be lucky to get 7th spot,put it this way...
