Well, it's about time that Werder qualifies again for EL. Without them it doesn't work well for Germany in Europe League  :D

I just noticed that this season might become a debacle for Spanish clubs...
Real only 1:1 draw at home,
Barca has to give everything they've got in Camp Nou
Malaga lost the first leg as well
Valencia even lost at home
Atletico is already eliminated

so, Levante could become the last hope of Spain, but with due respect, I don't give them credit for competing for the EL title. I
don't even think that they have a chance against Kasan. Levante is not much better than Stuttgart for example

Which team do you think will win the CL ?

I think in quarter finals there will be 5 teams which are able to win the trophy.

Assuming that AC Milan will eliminate Barca, the top favorite of winning the CL will be Bayern.

But Juve, Real, Dortmund and Milan have good chances as well, although I think that Dortmund will founder on their lack of experience.

PSG and Porto are very good teams, but PSG is too dependent of Ibrahimovc and Porto doesn't have the individual quality

Schalke (or Gala) are just too bad, I think their opponent in quarter final will be glad about the draw

Bayern, Dortmund and Madrid. One of them will win it. PSG and Juventus are outsiders. Can't see Milan doing it, nor Schalke/Galatasaray or Porto/Malaga. I'm fully behind the German teams, been a huge Bayern and German football fan since 1996. The QF draw will be interesting. Also interesting to see (almost certainly) no English teams in the QF.

Also congrats to Steaua Bucharest for beating Chelsea! Finish them off at Stamford Bridge please.

I can't believe it! We did it! It will be a tough game on Stamford Bridge but I think if we manage to score a goal there we are sure qualifiers....

This is an amazing success, but you have proven to be a great team, and I believe that the elimination of Chelsea is very possible :D

Thanks! I am scared though, because our players won't have a 55.000 people stadium cheering for them in London, so it will be tough for them. But as I said, if we score a goal and considering how strong our defense is, it will be impossible for Chelsea to score 3 goals against us! :D

^^ I agree with that :D Well, it will certainly be a tougher match but you have an advantage. The most important thing is to set things the right way from the tactical side and to be smart :D

I was looking at some statistics yesterday and Steaua not only has a great defense but it is also one of the most efficient teams when the European leagues are mixed and viewed together. That means that the team is very compact in both directions :D

We are out! We played very good in the first half, but then Chelsea showed it's strength. I am happy we got till this phase and I consider it a good preparation for owr UEFA Champions League adventure in autmn.

Too bad you didn't hold on in the second half :( But your team is definetly very good, and I think that you don't have to worry about the future. :D

CL Quarter Final:

Real vs Gala
Barca vs PSG
Dortmund vs Malaga
Bayern vs Juve

I think it won't be a problem for Real & Barca, so we will see both Spanish giants in Semi Final
Dortmund is also favorite against Malaga, but I don't trust them 100%. They get difficulties if one of the top 11 players is injured and they prone to pull off strange bad games in Bundesliga (like 1-4 against Hamburg). They must not underrate Malaga
Bayern vs Juve is a 50/50 game. Defeating Italian teams is always hard, especially Juve is hardly beatable.

What I think, about this draw
Real - Galatasaray
Real is favourite, but I think, that Galatasaray will not be the punching bag.
Barca - PSG
It's can be exciting match, but Catalans rather will advance without bigger problems.
BVB - Malaga
Hard to say. Borussia had many luck in draw, but Malaga can be unpredictable.
Bayern - Juventus
I wanted to see this teams in final CL, but in quaterfinal will be also good. Best match in this round, definitely.

Since one of my favorite teams (Man Utd) is eliminated, now I have only Real to support :D Hopefully they win the Champions League this season :D They are favorites against Galatasaray, but I don't expect an easy job at all. Turkish teams are advancing in a bigger and bigger degree and they invest a lot of money in football. Just the fact that Drogba and Sneijder are playing there currently says enough.

The most interesting duel will definetly be between Bayern and Juventus. However, the teams that I predict in the next round are: Real, Barca, BVB and Bayern.

In this moment, I will support Bayern and Juventus to winning in CL. Also victory of Galata, PSG and Malaga can be satisfacious to me. Also victory of Galata, PSG and Malaga can be satisfactory to me. Rather I don't want to see a Barca or Real win. I hope, that Borussia will not win the trophy. Everyone is jizzing about this team in Poland, and think "our players are world class" and treat they like a gods. Plus, TVP is mashing their matches on open TV xboring.

Dortmund & Real Madrid are the first two teams in semi final

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE FINISH FROM DORTMUND :D

Turned a 1:2 deficit into a 3:2 advantage during the extra time !! They already were eliminated but they didn't stop fighting and make the miracle true. Great moral

Thats why we love football
