And we managed to beat Zalgiris :p

Top 16 is very close now!

The only thing I am disappointed about is that we managed to lose the advantage of +15, and in the end we won with +6 only, so Zalgiris is still in advantage, as they defeated us there with +11.

But now we must defeat Khimki and Prokom, and we'll see what happens with Maccabi and Caja Laboral. We have a new play Jerrells now, so we'll see how it goes :D

Well done Fenerbahce :)

I am very disappointed with the loss of Partizan yesterday. Not because of the loss actually as because of bad, very bad play. Vlade Jovanovic seems like he is not the one to lead a team who is #4 in Europe, he doesn't know how to motivate players, he has no tactics, he is indolent (and that moves to the field), we have no defence, it is embarrassing to get 50 points average in first two quarters (it's good that Khimki didn't beat us with +30, but it's like they have).

We must get Dusko Vujosevic back, he is fired in CSKA, and Partizan is not the same as when he was here. Seems like we are made for each other. I feel sorry for Vlade, but....

The only good player was Curtis Jerrells, and he is a very promising play, MUCH better than Lafaet, but he can't help much when the rest of the team is sleeping.

I don't expect anything against Maccabi either, if we are about to play the zone against a team who has all good shooters.

Well done Maccabi.

Partizan is very, very bad now. I am terribly disappointed by everything, and I wouldn't have been satisfied even if we won the match. With this play, we don't deserve top 16.

Dule come back :(

Partizan managed to defeat Prokom last night :)

I didn't watch the whole match, but from what I have seen, we still play bad and non-organized, and we repeat the same mistakes from match to match. I understand when coaches like Blat or Scariollo play with you, but this is a game where I would know how to stop Partizan's attacks if I was on the opposite bench right now with this current knowledge of basketball.

- We don't know how to break the zonal defense.

- The outer shot is terrible(that is the reason why many teams are forcing the zone). Jerrells as a playmaker is still indolent, and it is like we have no play at all.

- Last night it wasn't that present, but we lose balls easily, and don't have organized attacks

-Jumpings in both defense and offense must be better, and once we get/secure the ball from those actions we must punish the other team's mistake, and not let it go with the flow.

Good luck to Maccabi tonight, if Khimki wins, then it is game over for Partizan, as we don't have anything to look for against Caja Laboral in Spain.

Thank you Maccabi :D :p

Partizan is in TOP 16 xcheer This will be our max though, but at least we won't have to stress out while watching a duel against Caja Laboral

Top 16 matches of Partizan in this season of Euroleague will be played in Belgrade Arena instead of in the Pionir hall (which is known to the ESC public, as it was the venue where ESC 2008 was hosted :p)

I'd like Partizan to draw Sienna, Efes Pilsen and Barcelona as the next rivals. We'd have a chance to score three victories on the home ground and at least one on the away ground and thus qualify to the top 8 phase with these 3.

And I am pretty sure that it will be one pure hell like in all previous Euroleague seasons, especially against top teams like Barca, even if we don't proceed further :D

Some people reported that the supporters were louder than a group of trucks in the match against Prokom, with the noise reaching 113 decibels! In Belgrade Arena it will be around 180

I'll try to secure the tickets.

Caja Laboral vs. Partizan tonight. Both teams secured the qualification to the next round, but this is a very important match for Partizan, as we beat Caja Laboral in Spain tonight, we can end in second place in the group and get "easier" opponents in the top 16 phase. Go Partizan!

^^ I think that Maccabi could easily win this season of Euroleague :) You have a great coach (Blat is one of my favorite coaches), a great team, and you are in a great shape now. Also, they play as a team, and are very hard to scout. They have great shot from distance, and are a very organized team.

Btw, I noticed that Milan Macvan made a debut last night in Maccabi (he is my uni colleague btw, although he doesn't come to lectures, and now with him being in Tel Aviv, the chances are even less to see him here  ). he is a great player, he was a legend of Hemofarm. He is also a very important player in the :rs: national team.

And Partizan lost  We still didn't beat anyone as guests, that is pure shame. And not a shame because we are losing, but because of the way we are losing. With this coach, nothing surprising.

Happy about my favourite team "Žalgiris". Those guys have shown pretty good results this year though the situation in the team isn't very nice. I mean, the change of head-coaches. But the team is in the next stage and I expect for the same good game. Maybe even for a bit better in some ways. ^^
