Unfortunately, 99% of Eurovision sites are not reliable sources for everything. The fact that John Kennedy O'Connor said this on Twitter and many Eurovision sites report the rumor don't make it real. But ok, this news is not a fake, so everybody is happy.
P.S. If I have to google everything I found on the internet I can say that UFO are flying above my head.

You know, the problem is that for me a single tweet is not a "providing fact" nor an "additional information" and I don't get why many Eurovision sites has to trust only a tweet of someone linked to the sammarinese delegation.
However, I will be very glad if these nations will send their delegations so I hope the news will be officially confirmed, by official sources, as said by ClassifiedCat

Strange fact that John Kennedy revealed something instead of EBU, even if he's not a part of the EBU, but as I always said after Azerbaijan's victory and Australia's participation everything can happen in the EBU, they want us to believe that the news about Germany as host country if Australia will win is not true so...

The EBU is very tight lipped when it comes to anything. There is a reason why they didn't want to reveal the detailed results prior to 2014. That is why we have journalists. To investigate news stories. Even big news courses like CNN or BBC often cite sources rather than relying on facts.
It's good to be skeptical though, I don't take everything at face value, either.

Well this is why I've only presented it in this article as a possibility. I've not explicitly said it was fact but it seems likely based on the reliability of the source.

I know Sean, my statement was not against this particular news/link, it was a general thing. I think it's actually good that you presented it as a possibility, unfortunately not many other ESC sites made the same thing, but I respect your way of working.

Greece & Fyr Macedonia are neighbors, but we never vote for them, due to political reasons.
