But the Netherlands is not the country that easily qualifies, that's why I said that.

Odds are shortening and according to eurovision.de he's right behind Sergey in the Google Trends list of the last hour. Then some nice posts in this thread.

This is clearly the little brother of 'Calm After The Storm'. I don't think he will end up in Top 10, but it's all great what he has received so far

EDIT: And now this german press article saying that he's Sergeys biggest challenger, also for being the completely opposite of the russians Las Vegas show. Too bad it's not possible to have Douwe right after Sergey in the running order.

I was actually suprised we qualified!

Maybe I didn't give enough trust to the Eurovision Community, and already assumed we were out because I assumed and would undeservingly come through).

But in the end music mostly won tonight! (except for qualifying ). In my opinion this semi should have had 11 qualifiers, with and replacing , but still most qualifying song were excellent. My faith in this contest has returned once again

And this is another proof EVERY country can make it. You just send a nice song and there you go.

Not really, a big budget and having a big country reputation for the juries helps. Otherwise enter something very different like this by someone who people think looks cute and has a nice enough sounding voice and I suppose you have a chance as well.

This song is SO inferior to the one by The Common Linnets.

Actually, I have to say I am happy that qualified for the Grand Final. Douwe Bob is a great singer and I enjoyed his live performance, although I am not a big fan of the song (probably after the contest it will grow on me), but in owerall, nice job, all my respect to you !

I honestly don't get the appeal? Some parts are ok-ish (except for the chorus which is just meh), but I find this so milked-down and in the middle-of-the-road tbh, it doesn't evoke any feeling in me (good or bad) and that's hardly a good grade I guess?

I love eurovision because of it. sometimes you hear the song and you hate it or dislike it, then when you see actual performance you start to like it and think why you didnt like it before. Vise versa with favorites... Last year my was and but after the contest and
