It isn't funny at all. Trijntje is happy with that dress and she looks beautiful. :D

A lot of the stuff is just plain mean but a lot of it is good humored fun.

In a way no matter what happens I feel like Trijntje has made herself forever immortal in ESC history and that's pretty cool

She can stand side by side with the likes of Barbara Dex and forever be remembered xsalute

Her background singers will wear other outfits tomorrow (that's confirmed) en maybe even Trijntje will choose another dress to wear.

Good thing about the backing singers!

I can't believe a professional designer would ever think of creating those :?

Wait - no "NO! YES!" dress? That's quite sad.

Hi Daniel,

Thank you very much for your comments on the first round of rehearsals for the two semi finals. Do you perhaps know if during the second round of rehearsals starting tomorrow we will be allowed to see how the acts will appear on screen? If so I believe Trijntjes Walk Along will be the act to look out for tomorrow morning. Not for the (too much discussed) dress but the visuals of the act itself. I’m not a video expert and therefore could be wrong, but do think there is reason to expect the Dutch (as has already been rumoured on this site) are using ‘augmented reality’ to create a completely different, yet unknown environment for the song.
The Dutch team mentioned on several occasions they were planning to bring a ‘dynamic video clip’ instead of a stage performance to the screen and explicitly told they would not focus on how the act will look like on the stage.
On the physical stage only one primary backlit colour is used most of the time, while the singers are dressed in black and white. It seems the entire stage could easily serve as a giant Chroma Key screen.
Revealing Trijntjes dress (especially this dress) in the first run instead of the dress rehearsals also indicates a more complex visual plan that needed testing. In an interview earlier this year Trijntje confirmed the visuals of the act would need testing on stage ‘to see if the plan works’ and added to this she ‘never knew all this was possible’.
The present physical staging doesn’t seem to have enough meaning and looks static for this song. Given the fact Hans Pannecoucke is engaged, makes it very hard to believe there isn’t a hidden concept. He would simply loose too much credibility if he doesn’t come up with something remotely close to the job he did for TLC.
Finally Trijntje (repeatedly) sings ‘Walk Along’ but sticks to one place on the huge stage. The only logical reason I can think of is she will indeed be edited into a different environment.
Unless I’m wrong, we literally ‘ain’t seen nothing yet’ off the Dutch performance. Even Trijntjes ‘widow veil’ (or her decolleté for that matter) could suddenly ‘fall in place’ once we learn where she will be wearing it next Tuesday. Can’t wait to see if this makes any sense or turns out to be the well known ESC trap of wishful thinking.

I can't wait for tomorrow's rehearsals

It seems that Team Trijntje is working on a wonderfull performance ON TELEVISION. x12s

Translated with Google

I am not in Vienna, but I just caught a lot on. And not according to what some say, but based on what is actually happening. So I have eg. The whole act that was being filmed via periscope by a member of the delegation in the arena. Trijntje sang really where fantastic. Consider the studio version, but full of subtle changes, and especially with a lot of emotion. I really got tears in my eyes, so beautiful was. So I've never heard her sing.

The animation is also the background that you see. On the images other than the official camera recording it all seem vague images, but by the real camera is a kind of 3D Hologram (can not explain it otherwise). In the beginning you only see Trijntje very close, and then on the "I wish you were waiting roses at sunset" is really a sun and the camera zooms out a bit. Then you see a man walking and during the bridge is not that a kind of "dream" come true, where you man a woman (Trijntje) shall hold and kiss. Then the emotional climax comes with howls and adlibs and disappears the dream and see you again just walk the guy. Where the stage until then pretty black / white / gray (very contrasting opposite color pattern of all other acts), he is more colorful in the end. The colors in the end will undoubtedly be adapted, this was a little excited with the bright green. That red was very beautiful. So it's something you really must see himself Tuesday to get it (because if you now only see the graphics, you do not see that effect). The camera is the man against whom she sings this and that game will go a very prominent role in the act. There she was Monday not so much working on it, so it was obviously not in place. Very curious about tomorrow for that matter. The camera zooms constantly in and out again, but Monday was a bit strange sometimes, because Trijntje did not take much and there she sings the song also quite different (better) than the studio version. So the cameraman was still going on cues from the studio version, and now so is also adjusted to the actual live version.

In short, if you look those comments read by some bloggers, the graphics were really quite impressive, she is filmed very close (no wide shot, what you see so constantly with other acts that sweeping cameras, even when eg Sweden. ) and therefore has the opportunity to really connect with the audience at home. Why did it not now? Trijntje was only concerned with the vocals. Tomorrow pieces that has been going better, and if so the noise falls out, it will most likely start falling into place and are very impressive. If not, is it really to herself and her ability to carry it out, not the plan.

Most acts have nothing special planned, there you have constantly changing camera shots and led visuals (which can be very nice Flashy) in the background reveal equal to what it will be. Trijntje of the act can be potentially fantastic but is therefore much more complicated. Even more complicated than last year! No wonder that it still falls into place and therefore equal a little messy happened. It's a bit of a 1 + 1 = 3 story. 3 which can reach them, but now it is still looking for the right proportions to create accurate comparison.

Pffff this plan has much more to it... then last year, this is much more to do for Trijntje then Ilse and Waylon had to do in their act!
