Has it been abandoned or something? It's been a good while.

^ Well, we can't expect people to post results on Christmas. ;)

I'm in the countryside until Sunday and Matt is very busy. So there won't be fancy voting tables like last year, but I will do my best to make something "acceptable" xrofl2

The final will probably take place on Monday, the 30th xpray... I will start working on the scoreboards, even if simple ones, on Sunday once I'm back to Lisbon.

Thanks for understanding. :D

I'm afraid the final will take place on Thursday only... I'm not sure if I'll be able to make things for Monday and then comes New Eve, the day after... :? Oh well, let's see.

I don't get why you all are so pushy about the results. It's the holidays. People could be busy celebrating and spending time with friends and family. We'll have the results when they are ready. Simple as that.

Yes and no. It is natural that most prefer the votes announcement to happen soon after the final hath ended. Compare it with reading an exciting novel or mystery story and you are allowed to read the last (pivotal) chapter only after a long break.

Well sorry about the final results taking so much time to be posted, but as most of you noticed, I haven't been that active in the forum lately because I've been very busy with personal stuff and then the holidays arrived and I had to spend time with my folks whom I don't see that often. These are the possibilities I've got for you:

Results tonight: No scoreboards, songs will be announced from the last to the first with all the votes that each song received from each member. I really don't have time right now to make scoreboards.

Results on Friday, possibly: simple scoreboards with all the votes in the ESC/online contests traditional way.

You're free to post what you want in the thread and I will do as the majority prefers. Personally I would rather do it the ESC way, even if with poor scoreboards, it would be far more interesting. But since this has taken too long, I understand that you want the results as soon as possible. And if you want it tonight, I will do as I mentioned before. In this case, the final will take place at 20:00 CET.

Once again, I hope you understand. Life has been a bit crazy on this side and unfortunately I haven't been as free as I wanted to be here as I was before. Matt is also terribly busy. :)

I personally find both ways interesting, but since I'm hungry for results and posting the songs in increasing order of position will only stress more on the songs themselves, rather than our preferances, I suggest we do it today. :)

I'd rather have the results on Friday if that means we'll get a more exciting results show. If we've waited this long, we can wait a couple of more days, surely. The Big Tournament deserves a grand results show, I think (no matter the quality of the scoreboards).

I can understand if you guys want the results right away, that's fine. But to nag about in the thread is what I don't understand. It's rude and inconsiderate. Luis and Matt have been working on collecting votes and posting results every single day for the past six months. Six months! Yes, we do this every year, and yes, no one forced them to do this, but to not give these guys a bit of a break over the holidays is what baffles me. Some of you might still be living with your parents, with next to no responsibilities. Some of you might be off from school with all the free time in the world to hang around the forum, but that's not the case with everybody and certainly not the case with Luis and Matt.

Common sense, and so forth.

I'd take scoreboards for a grand final over just announcing them without much hesitation. Also, it's a few days' worth of waiting. Hardly anything major considering it's been a while since the voting. Therefore, Friday.

As I mentioned, personally if I were in your shoes, I'd rather have an ESC style final even if with crappy scoreboards  It's far more exciting!

But all the feedback is welcome. I'll have the show ready on Friday evening with whatever scoreboars I make. :p
