Mio Dio!

It looks like that to some people music can only be real music if there is a danceable beat in it!

I look forward to the day at some point in the future when the spectrum of emotions has grown in these folks. I'd like to hear their opinion about ballads then.

3 points. It's quite nice, but I just cannot help myself when I hear him calling a girl named Koula all the time, it sounds funny for us Greek speaking people! Koula, what have you done to him and he calls your name with such pain over and over again?

Ok, now I sound like one of the Expert Panel!

And yes, it reminds me tis one:

I have favorites ballads, for example. Slovenia, Serbia, Germany this year. Molitva is a favorite at all. But as much not of the Eurovision

Estonia and Bosnia put to sleep me, and Albania motivates thought to seal with the scotch the mouth of Rona, that she didn't scream like crazy!

I look forward to that day as well Mozz. Surely all these people won't be raving on the dance floor into their 80's? I respect that everyone has different tastes and get kicks or whatever from different stuff. It's just quite painfull and actually rather insulting when beautifully made, personal songs get slagged and called boring amongst other things. I consider myself someone of very low patience but im always captivated by music that is honest and meaningful. Calling these songs boring is the equivalent of people say calling Euphoria "cheap". Im dreading Albania's turn in this game but at least I know what to expect.

Yes. I don't know what some people will do when they're just coming out of a (failed) meaningful relationship. What kind of music will they prefer to listen to in that situation, in that period of life? Will they dance it away on some uplifting disco tune? Who knows :?

Actually in the first few weeks, I was constantly assuming he was singing about a girl called 'Kuula' ...I thought it was an Estonian/Baltic girls' name :p

Anyway, 4 points + 1 bonus point for the (more than) exquisite lyrics = a full 5 points from me for Kuula!

I really don't think you need to be a disco bunny to find this song boring.

Unbelievable.
To give 0 points to Estonia's song without even getting it is...pretty shallow, I guess?

This song is addressed to place prime importance female audience, so for me it is no effect and I think it is not only boring, but soporific.

Tastes differ of course.
But I actually consider this ballad as a very well composed (by himself) piece of music with strong meaningful lyrics. xshrug

Personally, I'm not saying that this is terrible, on the contrary, I believe that this is a very high quality ballad. But for me it has no effect, so I can not put her scores. Is 0 and nothing else
