I haven't followed Melodifestivalen closely since the late 2010's (even though I adored most of the finals) but dunno, the list of competing artists looks fresh to me (?). Some new faces - it still sucks to have to endure John AND Mans in one single edition but oh well, we've had worse returnees.

I mean, just subtitute the word "cheese" for "Sweden" and you've got my feelings on things like when Tusse qualified and when Unforgettable beat Luktelk (seriously?).

I love  and :se: so much as countries and I like the people there but why is MF always so boring. Idk everything is professional, yes, but the soul and the variety of styles are totally missing. And I don't like the current voting system at all.

Let's see!

I'll do it Heat by Heat, and rank inside the Heat, based on how much it is promising to me, atm!

HEAT 1

1. Albin Johnsen feat. Pa - "Upp i luften" - everybody knows how much I love PANETOZ, they were always in my TOP 5 in the MF edition they took part and even No1 at their MF debut! So I have trust in Pa Modou Badjie this time as well. I love rap and i have high hopes for this entry! hblue

😜😛

2. John Lundvik - "Voice of the Silent" - I loved "Anglavakt" so much, still listen to it on regular basis, not so confident on the team behind the entry this time, but John is an AMAZING singer, I'm sure he can lift almost anything up!

3. Linnea Henrikson - "Den känslan - this seems promising, but all songs I found are in English actually, so a bit strange she opted for a Swedish language for MF, we will see.. :)

4. Adrian Macéus - "Vår första gång"- this could be nice enough, I'm glad it is in Swedish language, let's see! Hope it is not too MFized though...

5. Maja Ivarsson - "Kamikaze life" - great vocals, but generally I can't see this as super promising unfortunately, but maybe I'm wrong... Title is definitely intriguing, but songwriters not so much lol

6. Meira Omar - "Hush hush" - this remdns me bito Arash, especially with that title, that pseudo Indian/Persian sound is a bit cliche. If it takes itself too serious, not that promising, but if it takes more trashy and witty way and be catchy like Cameron Cartio - "Roma" from MF, could be okay! 😛

After checking what KAJ are all about, i agree with you :mrgreen:xheya

I'm expecting a lot from Malou and Mans too. Them and Dolly Style are all 3 for 3
Niceeeee! :)
I wasn't here last year, I supposed you liked Froken Snusk! Or maybe Gunilla Persson, ahahaha.. I saw her live, I was in Vaxjo for Heat 3 in Arena.. :D
Did you like Medina - "Que sera"?? I adore it, still listen to it on spotify.. ❤️‍🔥

If you liked PANETOZ earlier, maybe Albin Johnsen feat. Pa - "Upp i luften" cak also be for you... You like rap..

Froken Snusk and Lia Larsson introduced me to the coolest new genre of music i never knew i needed - "Epadunk" xheat
I loved Medina too but Panetoz, not enough to get excited, but they are definitely in the right genre which i guess is half the battle. We'll see

Okay, tinw for:

HEAT 2

1. Kaliffa - "Salute" - this seems very promising, I gotta feeling it will be anthemic. It even gives me some Medina vibes, according to that title.. :)

2. Schlagerz - "Don Juan" - this is smth we see less and less at MF and we have to be so happy and thankfull for this.. 🙏🏻 My whole body is already shaking for this.. ❤️

3. Nomi Tales - "Funniest things" - based on some songs of this artist, I checked, this seems really promising, title is a bit confusing, bu could be totally interesting.. Maybe it is just missleading in a positive way..

4. Fredrik Lundman - "The Heart of a Swedish Cowboy - this can go both ways, way to tacky, predictable, into ypur face, but also contrary, thus we have to wait patiently for this one...

5. Erik Segerstedt - "Show Me What Love Is" - based on his other work and previous MF entry, it seems totally uninspiring to me tbh. Not to mention this title which is totally worn out..

6. Klara Hammarström - "On and On and On" - I promised I won't be too bitter, but, BUT, I'm so sorry, I'm already devastated this talentless act will go DTF in this heat.. 😭😣

  2. Maja Ivarsson – “Kamikaze Life”
  3. John Lundvik – “Voice of the Silent”
  4. Meira Omar – “Hush Hush”
  5. Adrian Maceus – “Vår första gång” (Our first time)
  6. Linnea Henriksson – “Den känslan” (That feeling)
HEAT 2
  1. Nomi Tales – “Funniest Thing”
  2. Schlagerz – “Don Juan”
  3. Erik Segerstedt – “Show Me What Love Is”
  4. Klara Hammarström – “On and On and On”
  5. Fredrik Lundman – “The Heart of a Swedish Cowboy”
  6. Kaliffa – “Salute”
HEAT 3
  1. Greczula – “Believe Me”
  2. Malou Prytz – “24K Gold”
  3. Björn Holmgren – “Rädda mig” (Save me)
  4. Dolly Style – “YIHAA”
  5. Angelino – “Teardrops”
  6. Annika Wickihalder – “Life Again”
HEAT 4
  1. Andreas Lundstedt – “Vicious”
  2. Ella Tiritello – “Bara du är där” (Only you are there)
  3. Tennessee Tears – “Yours”
  4. Kaj – “Bara bada bastu” (Just take a sauna)
  5. AmenA – “Do Good Be Better”
  6. Måns Zelmerlöw – “Revolution”
HEAT 5
  1. Arvingarna – “Ring baby ring” (Call baby call)
  2. Arwin – “This Dream of Mine”
  3. Saga Ludvigsson – “Hate You So Much”
  4. Victoria Silvstedt – “Love It”
  5. Vilhelm Buchaus – “I’m Yours”
  6. Scarlet – “Sweet n’ Psycho”
Presumably, being placed this way, John Lundvik and Klara Hammaström's songs are probably not that competitive. On the other side, Scarlet inherits the infamous very last spot and might get a shot at winning over Måns.
