Loosing Birgo is smth I took really emotional, almost personal, I'm chatting with her for weeks now and I felt it like my personal failure somehow..
But loosing Nomi Tales here also hurts me a lot! Especially when I watch it now again and again and even more after I saw who qualified DTF! 🥺
"Funniest thing" was so edgy, dreamy, beautiful, haunting...

I also loved Swedish cowboy :(
Hope for better qualifications next week...

I know it's early, but this NF is on a good trajectory to become one of my favorite Melfest editions. xheatxmusic

LOL I knew it..

I rank the final for now:

1. John Lundvik 10/10
2. Maja Ivarsson 7/10 - her entry and performance have grown on me, she has charisma and personality to stand behind this
3. Erik Segerstedt 4/10
4. Klara Hammarström 2/10

I rank the AC:

1. Meira Omar 10/10
2. Kaliffa 6/10

But Kaliffa and Meira Omar using the same stuff, that platform and singing half behind it…Could they found a different ideas for performances, geeez!? :/

You knew it? I thought the scream emoji represents the state of shock or surprise

For me Heat 1 gave me Maja Ivarsson, Albin Johnsén feat. Pa and Meira Omar xmusic
and from Heat 2 i got Erik Segerstedt, Nomi Tales and Kaliffa xmusic

Klara's performance got me vibing with the song in a way the studio audio failed to. Thoroughly enjoyed that performance!

EDIT: And it continues to work for me - I don't quite know what it is, as the live vocal could be better, but the overall production and track just seems more complete and immersive in the live compared to the studio. Nice to have songs that actually elevate in their live format when essentially that's how the songs were intended to be seen...

Round 3 snippets, another 6 shades of beige. :censored: I just hope that there will be ONE entry that I can support. So far kamikaze is still the "best".

Based on audio snippets of the 3rd heat:

1. Dolly Styla 10/10 - their MF trash + COUNTRY trash this time, what else I can say but YIHAAAAAAAAA 🐎🐎🐎xcheer

2. Annika Wickihalder 9/10 - as expected with full team behind Mamas' entry, this reminds me of Mamas so much and I'm here for it..
----------------------
3. Malou Prytz 8/10 - positive surprise, I liked this snippet, it got smth different to her previous entries, so curious if @EscGeek will like this and Yihaa
----------------------
4. Bjorn Holmgren 6/10 - it sounds ok, decent and in Swedish, but still not a stand out, a bit bland

5. Greczula 5/10 - duuuuh this is so middle of the road, MF rock, that it hurts, I expected at least he won't be that MFized in his debut, cause I liked some of his songs, but noo..at least hope for good visuals on the stage to lift it up as much as possible..

6. Angelino 4/10 - Tusse Chiza wants his song back, ooops Tusse Chiza stands behind it...

so far i find nothing exciting, i still like Maja Ivarsson the best but the song is absolutely not it either (I really like The Sounds and i was hoping for more), it has no chance of winning and would stuggle in Basel aswell.
in this heat i cant find anything i really like either

Please :se:, anyone else than Måns Zelmerglöv or John Lundvik.
I couldn't understand the hype about John Lundvik in 2019. I thought his song was bland beyond belief and the performance was so boring.

Mans - I liked Heroes, but Loic Nottet was my winner that year. Mans is a great performer. I really don't want to see him win Melfest and then Eurovision with a bland by the numbers song, however.

I prefer this years John Lundvik's entry to that one from 2019..but Mamas lifted it up so much..MAMAS are simply MAMAS!

This years MF just seems like it was produced to ensure a Mans win with the bar set low and of course very unlikely Mans would enter unless he had a song that could win,but also top 4 at ESC.
