So after a week of randomly searching around, reminding myself of all sorts of other great NSC songs, I decided I would still stick with this first thought anyway
Three reasons why I've chosen this song:
1) It represented a long-serving but now defunct nation in NSC (although the person behind that nation is still around here on the forum)
2) It is from one of the few editions I didn't take part in, so it's the first time I get to officially play with it, so to speak
3) It is literally one of my first memories of interacting with NSC, and like I said, played a part in piquing my interest enough to join
Otherwise, I think this song might seem kinda random and wtf to other people; a choice maybe not to my usual taste? A song that doesn't seem extraordinary in any way at all objectively? Perhaps even very outdated?
But that's the beauty of a contest like NSC which has been going for almost 9 years. First impressions never die, and that's why I'm sending my own first impression from that summer in 2007 
Oh, and as a final point, it was massively underrated in its edition, to my shock at the time (I think one of my first posts ever was remarking how it would've been my 12 in the results show). Nothing changes there though

I have a song in mind, but I'm also curious to see what kinda of eras of NSC history we see represented before I make a final decision

I'm not doing the show until tomorrow. I have an audition for a televisual box programme at 2pm so I should be home around 6ish so anyone who wants to join you can still send your songs

Okay, how the hell am I supposed to vote for my own entries? o.o
It's super awesome they were chosen among so many other possibilities, but it means a huge problem I think I can't solve without random.org xD
My initial pick was My Heart Will Go On from Titanic, but today I suddenly had dozens of new ideas. So I hope it's not the last of this spinoff.
But really, I can't rank my own entries, it's like picking your favorite child... :|

If this does join a series of recurring spinoffs, I would suggest that future "NSC NSCs" each have some sort of mini-theme to them (maybe chosen by the host?) Then for example -75% could fit into it, or any other idea. It also provides a small limitation to the currently ridiculously huge pool of choice.
