That would be the case if you don't know a single Folk song from your country and you pick the WV song because you're too lazy to make researches.
However, the song I meant I've already known before and I didn't even know that it took part on the WV

But it doesn't matter anymore, I'm satisfied with my song that I've chosen and I accept the rules which the host sets

And besides, it's the height of unoriginality and uncreativity to send WV songs to WV spin-offs.

I agree with most part but yet again, you can't know someones reasons why they want to send specific song. + Many new members to WV who do not play from start do not know what were songs in previous editions (or maybe if they didn't voted as REJU in other SF and song got eliminated there, they even didn't hear it) and maybe some song was underrated and didn't get enough attention.

According to the general spin-off rules it's not forbidden but in the opening post Veronika wrote that WV songs are not allowed

But it's alright, I found another good song

Yes, but I am mostly talking about those who send songs they either sent themselves to WV (or other contests they are a part of), or those who send something from editions where they also participated. We have special spin-offs for WV second chances.
