Am not that sure about Agoney his song sounds live car crash, but if it's good live then I think it will Q

Also wouldn't write Karmento off, I definitely see her creating some kind of moment if song is staged well

And for the win contenders I see Megara, E'Femme, José Otero and maybe Agoney and Fusa Nocta

Hmm, I hope RTVE makes it 5 finalists for each semi... Semi 1 is definitely stronger, all my faves are there.

My qualifiers:

SEMI 1: Alice Wonder, Fusa Nocta, Megara and Agoney/Aritz
SEMI 2: Blanca Paloma, Rakky Ripper (if she delivers), Karmento/Siderland and Famous/José Otero

Initially there had to be 16 singers in the competition, with 8 participants (4+4) in the final. I don't know if they will increase to 10, since there are now 18 singers.
As I read, it is confirmed there will be only 8 songs competing in the final.

Quiero Arder is a mini-revamp away from being absolutely sublime and it will just rickroll the whole competition if the live performance is great too, but to be fair this whole NF is pretty legit. Thank you Chanel, Spain is on it.

Quiero Arder or Arcadia would both be wonderful picks. I wasn't part of the Spain hype train last year (Chanel's song was never really up my alley) but I'd love to join it this year, so pick one of those and let me on please!

It's January 15th, and Nochentera is still the best song of all songs in the national finals.

Is that a strategy like „my favorite always loses so I pretend to love something else“ or are you for real?

No, it's like "I think Nochentera is the best song of all songs in the national finals so far".

Alleged jury votes. Spanish selection will be rigged this year for Aritz this year by the looks of it and Fusa Nocta will be the Tanxugueiras of this edition and sabotaged. :(

I don't speak Spanish so didn't understand the article but why do you think it's actually rigged ?

As I understand it, that was the TV Station jury who elected the Top 18 out of the applications. I don't think it will be the same jury as in the show. So, the jury vote has yet to take place and so far there is nothing to worry about unless the jury will be the same :nervous:
I am quite surprised by the list though. While Mi Familia is far from my favorite and therefore I am rather surprised that it has that many fans, I was sure Agoney would be quite far up, and I expected quiero y duelo to do well with the juries.

I have to say, I just realized today that Vicco sings "Noche ochentera, toda la noche entera" and not just "Noche entera" repeated twice, and that's where the amalgamation in the title comes from, and my mind is completely blown
