Llegó la mami
La reina, la dura, una Bugatti
El mundo está loco con este party
Si tengo un problema, no es monetary
Yo vuelvo loquito’ a todos los daddies
Yo siempre primera, nunca secondary
Apenas hago doom, doom
Con mi boom, boom
Y le tengo dando zoom, zoom
Por Miami

Y no se confundan
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazones
Solo existe una
No hay imitaciones (Na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, morе, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suеlo, lo, lo, lo, lo (Yeah)
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video, watch it slo mo

Te gusta todo lo que tengo
Te endulzo la cara en jugo de mango
Se te dispara cuando la prendo
Hasta el final, yo no me detengo
Take a sip of my cola-la
Un poco salvaje na-na-na
Make it go like pa-pa-pa-pa
Like pa-pa-pa-pa-pa

Y no se confundan (Y no se confundan)
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready (Yo siempre estoy ready)
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazone’
Solo existe una (Solo existe una)
No hay imitaciones (Na, na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo (Oye)

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo

Actually, I'm not :) But people claim that Spain is a clear favorite to win, that's based on...? See my point now?
Different polls online, spotify listens (global), youtube listens, press, and so on. I don't think it's a clear favourite to win, but it has more chances than most of the countries.

Actually, the odds got 7/10 spot on and you just had to switch 11/12/13 with 10/9/8 to get the full house... Not bad going tbh.
Seeing that Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia were not qualifying for sure, I think the omnipotent odds went quite bad yesterday tbh.

I think people didn't think Switzerland were qualifying either tbf - but they were pretty spot on.

This isn't as good as Cyprus 2018, it's more Cyprus 2019/21 and I think it'll be forgotten - especially if Norway/Ukraine comes after it.

I know itunes is not really relevant nowadays, but SloMo is the only song that hasn't been officially presented (like the ones in the first semi + Italy and France) and is charting in 4 countries: Spain, Slovenia, Netherlands and Sweden.
De Diepte (11 countries) , Saudade, saudade, (11 countries), Halo (8 countries), Give that Wolf a Banana (6 countries) and Snap (6 countries) are the ones from the 1st semi doing better there.

I am quite obssesed with all these charts because they usually match with what people are voting in their houses, at least in the past years. Saying that, we can confirm that Halo was sunk by the juries (fun fact that we all knew btw).

I love the spanish entrance and hope it will be top 5 but the confidence of the spaniards whenever they have a strong entrance (which doesn't happen often) is really buffling me. I remember reading a spanish BRAVO (teen newspaper) in holidays back in 2002 where they tried to find a reason why Rosa didn't win because everyone was so convinced of it. See how modest the UK fans are, they will be happy with everything above top 10. I remember how it didn't cross my mind that Lena could win in 2010 because I was so sure that it would be too good to be true so the surprise was even better (and she was the fav everywhere unlike Chanel now). Overconfidence brings nothing but disappointments.

I think the main difference between Spain and the other countries you are mentioning is that Spain hasn't won since 1969. Fun enough, most of our parents weren't even born by then, so we are really craving for a victory in Eurovision. The story of Rosa is fun. I remember that back then, there was a show called Operación Triunfo (the very first season) that was watched by 15 million people every Monday. The fandom, albums sold, and the craziness created around the show and their contestants was insane. It somehow felt like they were part of our family. And back then, there were no social media or whatsover, so we didn't exactly know what other people thought about the song.

My feet are on the floor, I have been watching Eurovision since 2001, and I can assure you I don't take anything from granted. Actually, I have made some rankings in this forum and I placed her around 7th-10th place (taking into consideration that Spain is not a country that usually gets high points). I just think that this year the effort and the package is above average, and the fact that RTVE hasn't messed up with anything about the song it feels just... like a dream. But believe me, if Chanel flops people will get over it very easily because we are just used to it.

One last thing I want to add: you are right about the crazy Spanish fandom that are just above toxic and damage the image of most of the country when we are not all like them. It's good to have confidence but with a limit. In my case I can assure I try to be cautious, but yeah, I am very excited at the same time :)

just out of curiousity: how old are you and how old do you assume are most of us because these two numbers don't add up to me. :D

Oh god, they even said on stage she was one of the likely winners, i am so hyped for this.... and i don't even like this type of entry usually! I almost don't wanna watch the rehearsal performance because i don't want to get spoiled, but i think Spain deserves their moment of glory....

OK, I wanted to wait until Saturday, but I couldn’t resist either.

It’s still my favourite, but I am not sure if I like the arrangements, maybe I am already too used to the Benidorm version, unlike most of the viewers on Saturday. Also, I am not a fan of her outfit to be honest, I think she looked more sexy and comfortable in Benidorm or Lisbon.

I can see all the criticism she might face for using such stereotypes onstage. Crossing fingers for a top 10… but that’s more a desire than a prediction.

Wow, the choreography is INCREDIBLE! I can imagine people are tired of this comparison but this easily trumps the Fuego choreography. If the song was just a little bit stronger, I could've seen myself voting of it. Still wishing our friends in Spain all the best of luck, it's time for another Top 5 result!!
