Llegó la mami
La reina, la dura, una Bugatti
El mundo está loco con este party
Si tengo un problema, no es monetary
Yo vuelvo loquito’ a todos los daddies
Yo siempre primera, nunca secondary
Apenas hago doom, doom
Con mi boom, boom
Y le tengo dando zoom, zoom
Por Miami

Y no se confundan
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazones
Solo existe una
No hay imitaciones (Na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, morе, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suеlo, lo, lo, lo, lo (Yeah)
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video, watch it slo mo

Te gusta todo lo que tengo
Te endulzo la cara en jugo de mango
Se te dispara cuando la prendo
Hasta el final, yo no me detengo
Take a sip of my cola-la
Un poco salvaje na-na-na
Make it go like pa-pa-pa-pa
Like pa-pa-pa-pa-pa

Y no se confundan (Y no se confundan)
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready (Yo siempre estoy ready)
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazone’
Solo existe una (Solo existe una)
No hay imitaciones (Na, na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo (Oye)

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more

This line up. I-

Being a brit and all that something called Benidormfest automatically makes me think of something super cheap, trashy and to avoid at all costs but this line up is so exciting. xheat Some of the snippets and songs dropped already sound good. Can't wait for the eurofans to hype the one song I hate into oblivion and then it wins. xheart

Festival in Benidorm and only one song in English!! :cautious:xangry

That one will win the whole thing - Sara Deop - "Make you say"... :p

I love 'Secreto de Agua' xheart xheart It's great to know there is at least a song I'll gladly vote for. 'Culpa' is not bad, but I wish all the song was like the last minute.
I've also heard Luna Ki's snippet and I really like it, but I'm afraid this would flop with the jury vote.

One of my favourite spanish entries ever.
for me as an oldschool boy the best spanish entry of all times - there was also some good stuff around 1970 (2 songs think so).

this live stageact contains also a big bonus - we got "messis father" at the lead concert gitar.xrollinglol

Pretty decent choices done by RTVE, I'm quite surprised (they still have plenty of time to mess everything up). Regarding the possible artists, it's obvious I have to wait for every song to be released, but 'Secreto de Agua' is truly amazing! Javiera's song is a big no for me. I didn't expect Azúcar Moreno back in the game but I do not have high hopes for them unfortunately, their boom time occured long ago... If Tanxugueiras deliver a song as strong as their most famous ones, they will be the ones I'll completely root for although it worries me that many people in Spain will not vote for them due to the fact they're singing in Galician language...

have checked this thread before - we have the great song "fida" two times here but not this song - i'm very excited about the ESC song from tanxugueiras - aside from the recurring legends i know not so much acts from the spanish NF,but i think team tanxugueiras is very likely. xqueenbitch

Let me give proper feedback about this year line-up, so I am going to mention the ones I am most excited about:

- Marta Sango (she has released a couple of songs which could work quite well in Eurovision, so the expectations are high).
- Rigoberta Bandini (I can say she is one of my most listened Spanish artists in 2021. Maybe she's not the best live, but her music and lyrics are art, and if her song is similar to the ones she's relased, I would be more than happy).
- Chanel (I didn't know her, but I have good feelings. The way she acts on camera, performs and sings is hypnotising).
- Tanxungueiras (obvious pick. The fact they will sing in Galician and a cooficial language of Spain is allowed in a national final after 60 years is a huge step forward. If the song follows the line of "Figa" that could be an important contender. I hope in the future new doors are open for Catalan or Basque as well).
- Xeinn (the most interesting male act. His style is very euro-friendly, and he looks great on camera. Let's see what he brings).
- Luna KI (even though her music is not really my style, that could be something really different from what we've seen. Risky but good).

Regarding the two songs that have been already released, I love Blanca Paloma. Her song reminds me a lot of Maria José Llergo, and with a good athmosphere on stage that could be a contender as well. Javiera Mena is a big name, yes, and her song is not bad. However, I am afraid there will be better songs on this national final.

And finally, maybe I am one of the few who are not excited about Azucar Moreno. Their last album is not great if I am honest, but who knows, maybe they will surprise me.

Summing up, thanks Spain (and above all, the new head of delegation, who is fantastic) for bringing us a bit of illusion back. After many, many flops, I am very excited about this new step forward. With this line-up and the upcoming Benidorm fest (which looks promising, I hope I am not wrong) they are finally showing some interest. Last year disaster was the icing on the cake tbh.

Wow, I didn't know that Galician, Basque or Catalan were not allowed for Spain to enter! It is really unfair, petty and smells of nationalism.

What makes you think Chanel - Slo Mo isn't in English (just with slang spelling?)

I echo all of Ashley's sentiments - promising signs from what we've heard so far, but BenidormFest literally makes me think we have a bunch of trashy pop bops (which wouldn't be terrible from my POV but would no doubt be contest suicide for the Spanish delegation)

Spain will invest 3,2 million euros + 1 million extra from Generalitat de Valencia in Benidorm Fest. 4,2 million euros in total.
To give you an example, the amount of money that Spain has spent in national finals (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021) is 4,8 millon euros.

in other words, they will spend almost the same amount in one year that they’ve spent in 10. That starts to sound promising

It's not about performing at the concert, it's about how many people have heard the song. The EBU can allow a song if it hasn't been exposed to many people.
In Jamala's case it was a demo, being performed at a private ;) event to less than 300 people (Crimean tatars, lots of her relatives) + the video has had less than 40 views before the contest, in other words it wasn't unfair advantage.
Our NF bosses were in contact with a person from the EBU, right before the NF final.
Just like when Go_A re-worked Shum & Solovey, Vidbir bosses have already knew the exact requirements.
