Llegó la mami
La reina, la dura, una Bugatti
El mundo está loco con este party
Si tengo un problema, no es monetary
Yo vuelvo loquito’ a todos los daddies
Yo siempre primera, nunca secondary
Apenas hago doom, doom
Con mi boom, boom
Y le tengo dando zoom, zoom
Por Miami

Y no se confundan
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazones
Solo existe una
No hay imitaciones (Na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, morе, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suеlo, lo, lo, lo, lo (Yeah)
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video, watch it slo mo

Te gusta todo lo que tengo
Te endulzo la cara en jugo de mango
Se te dispara cuando la prendo
Hasta el final, yo no me detengo
Take a sip of my cola-la
Un poco salvaje na-na-na
Make it go like pa-pa-pa-pa
Like pa-pa-pa-pa-pa

Y no se confundan (Y no se confundan)
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready (Yo siempre estoy ready)
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazone’
Solo existe una (Solo existe una)
No hay imitaciones (Na, na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo (Oye)

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more

Can someone explain to me the annoyingly recurring gay-men-are-misogynic-argument when it‘s the gay men who are the loudest group of supporters of the female artists every year here? I mean I NEVER EVER heard my straight friends scream „Slaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyqueeeeeeeeen“ for three months continuously. (check out Latvia-threead 2021)

It seems that I won't be rooting for Spain this year, as I'm not fond of any of the SF winners. I hope for an upset, Go Tanxugueiras and Rayden!

Can I just tell how mad I am that Spain didn't win in 1973?

They lost by four points only, thanks to 3 countries, each of them could have made single-handedly the difference.

Finland and Norway apparently didn't click and the UK voted Spain down on purpose. When their co-juries gave 10 points each, they only had 4. Sweden only had 7 points for Spain, while every other country gave at least 8 out of 10 points.

I wish I could sue them.

Luxembourg scored more mediocre throughout Europe with many 6 and 7 points, but never going below them.

What's even the point to have televotes when it's so skewed in favor of the juries that the televote ultimately means almost nothing xshrug

I feel sorry for the Spanish Eurovision fans, it's like the broadcaster screws them over almost every year with oddities and then the results are as they are in ESC...

I had a revelation and now I know why Spain will never win Eurovision. Spanish fans dont dare to look for Spain's own voice. We always send to Eurovision songs that have already been sung (if you know what I mean) and most European countries are far better than Spain when it comes to copy. We are 5 years behind as regards Eurovision compared to any other country.
We will never choose a song like Secreto de Agua and I dont mean Secreto de Agua would win but it would represent Spanish own voice in Eurovision and these are the songs that win Eurovision. Sobral was Portugal's own voice, Maneskin was Italy's own voice, the Dutch guy was Netherland's own voice. Spain has never haf that...
O mannn am I deep or what???

Why do you think Secreto de agua is the only song that represents 'Spain's voice'? To start with, the song that recalls the most the Spanish folk is Terra. And I always thought it was a joke that Eurovision had seen many latino entries in English and just some words in Spanish... but Spain always refused to send its own. Even if one considers that Spain is not exactly a latino country, culturally speaking it's the closest one to Hispanic America in Europe. We now have the chance to send a latino entry, sung almost entirely in Spanish, performed by a Cuban-born artist, and with an outstanding staging.

Agree with his review of semifinal performances 100%. Worth of time

Thoroughly enjoyed the analysis. Thanks for sharing it.

I agree with pretty much everything he said. Even the criticism towards my favorite (Rayden) is on point. It starts big and interesting staging wise and goes nowhere after the pirates join in.

Yeees, exactly my thoughts. He already had a nice a concept in a video, on stage he could have transposed it simply to the Last Supper motive, or "a dinner of carnavours". Thus his supporting singers would have fit into a whole scene with a meaningful role / act in it.

I don't know really what happened to him.

He is though still the strongest act - strongest song, the most appealing performer, and different than the rest.

Finals spread the new sheet of cards, let's hope for the best.

I don't understand why he thinks Xeinn of all people would bring the best result for Spain, but everything else feels spot on. Especially all he says about Ay Mamá :)

Well, it is "the most international and neutral act that can appeal to anybody". E.g. he predicted Måneskin's win with popular vote from the start when all the rest were in the stage of "noise only" haha, but had reasonable doubts over the juries' intervention.

However, Bors also tends to understimate the contenders who are out of the box. Scandinavian syndrome haha. Just check his last year review of Ukraine's entry.

I wish no Eurofan would be willing to spend money on this corrupt voting system.

I can totally understand if a s country comes up with such voting system if it can't generate a decent televoting but it's Spain we are talking about. They should have ditched the juries for the final (or reduced their power to 25%) - it's Saturday and Spain will be able to attract enough viewers to generate a high number in televoting.

It's just just stupid that a foreigner like Marvin D. has a 10% say in what Spain is about to submit to Eurovison, whereas the Spanish fans/viewers only got 25%.

But now, voting is pointless...especially if one vote costs more than 1,40€ (in Germay, we pay 0,14€ per call).

Imagine "Terra" being the #1 in the televoting (this could still be happening) but they will finish even "just" 3rd or 4th in the jury voting (they will finish lower, let's face it)...they won't have a chance to win.

And no, having watched the performances, I prefer Chanel, Rayden to rhem and songs wise, I think that Rayden, Rigoberta and even Gonzalo are stronger...

I just wish the people/viewers had a day in this decision but in fact, it's no democracy at all. A laughing-stock of a televoting. Ridiculous, pathetic and outrageous.

Power to the people

I'm a jury defender for various reasons, especially at Eurovision itself, but you make some good points. However, one could argue that they will be doing the right thing if they vote Rigoberta over Tanxugueiras, even if Tanxugueiras win the televote, because their televote score has been inflated by over-enthusiastic Galicians. (I'm kind of playing Devil's Advocate here.)

I honestly have no idea what they'll do tonight but, barring a miracle, it's either Chanel or Rigoberta. In any case, I won't be voting at that price!

I think I'm jumping over to the good ship Chanel tonight. It's quite the plot twist but it's not as though I disliked the song to begin with (gave it a 7). The performance is astounding. I want Spain to come out of their results slump and I firmly believe this would be how to do it. This lady is incredibly talented. The fact she's singing as well as she is with THAT routine. It's crazy. SloMo was a decent song to begin with but the whole package when live is a different league. Chanel is a new name yet is already world class in the way that she delivers. You've got to share her please Spain. Don't miss this chance!

A foreign coreographer nets this night's decision with 10% share??? Hahaha.

There's not a single "professional" jury one should let decide on anything.

Just look at the fact that Merryl Streep has never won an Oscar.

Everyone seemed to think Rigoberta had it in the bag purely based on her popularity and the message, but it was great to see the strongest overall performance winning and the juries doing their job in selecting the best contender for Eurovision. Yes, 5 people having the same say over the result as the thousands voting was always going to be problematic, but the fact is something needed to be done in a bid to stop their run of poor results at Eurovision, and as far as I’m concerned the addition of the international jury tonight did just that. It’d be great to see at least double that number of jurors on the panel though I still think Chanel’s charisma and fierce choreography would’ve won over most other jurors too.
