Llegó la mami
La reina, la dura, una Bugatti
El mundo está loco con este party
Si tengo un problema, no es monetary
Yo vuelvo loquito’ a todos los daddies
Yo siempre primera, nunca secondary
Apenas hago doom, doom
Con mi boom, boom
Y le tengo dando zoom, zoom
Por Miami

Y no se confundan
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazones
Solo existe una
No hay imitaciones (Na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, morе, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suеlo, lo, lo, lo, lo (Yeah)
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video, watch it slo mo

Te gusta todo lo que tengo
Te endulzo la cara en jugo de mango
Se te dispara cuando la prendo
Hasta el final, yo no me detengo
Take a sip of my cola-la
Un poco salvaje na-na-na
Make it go like pa-pa-pa-pa
Like pa-pa-pa-pa-pa

Y no se confundan (Y no se confundan)
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready (Yo siempre estoy ready)
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazone’
Solo existe una (Solo existe una)
No hay imitaciones (Na, na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo (Oye)

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo

Am I the only one who does not get the appeal of Rigoberta's song? It sounds a lot like some tacky disco-polo but with Spanish lyrics instead.
Nope. I really don't understand it either. And being the super fan favorite just blows my mind.

Over time I realised I actually like 'Ay mamá', but I'm aware my opinion has been influenced due to being exposed to this song so many times and hearing so many people saying 'woaaah it's an anthem, woah, I'm crying!'. That 'mamamama' bit is really catchy, though. Tanxugueiras and Rayden are still my favourites.

The problem Spain have though is at ESC Tanxugueiras and Rayden will have very little appeal."There are no borders "imagery etc will go down like a lead balloon. They are both ESC fan bubble entries that the wider public will yawn at.Of course the Spanish public and Jury might not consider ESC itself and go for one of them. Its a fascinating contest and how things come over on camera might decide things.

You are SO wrong. And it's not just my opinion. The bookmakers are right now placing Spain very high in the odds, and that is based on which songs are favourites to win the national final.

My top 5 (all have the potential to get a :12: from me, and I will most probably be happy with any of them) ... is the 5 songs that people talk the most about anyway :D :

5. Tanxugueiras - Terra
The song's so epic it is almost too epic. In a way, it reminds me of Chakras La-Ley-La from 2020. Will it have a similarly captivating staging?

4. Blanca Paloma - Secreto De Agua
If everything clicks together, Secreto De Agua could go Voilà-level of big, though it more probably won't. Getting the staging right is going to be very difficult, as well as the singing part. But it's possible! Whatever happens, the studio version shall remain on my 'meditative' playlist for a long time.

3. Rigoberta Bandini - Ay Mama
I liked the song from the first replay, I love how it gradually builds up, and the final minute feels very liberating, it makes me want to dance and party without a care in the world, which is the intention I guess. (y) At the same time, I fear the song could flop big time with people (and juries!) not immediately getting it, and with the hype it gets in Spain, make Spanish public even more pissed about Eurovision. Risk/reward wise, I think there is a better option...

2. Rayden - Calle de la Llorería.
...namely this one. Groovy, energetic, fun. The music video feels like the artist has a strong sense of his own identity, which could translate to a quality staging. I think Spain should stick with this song, draw the 2nd half and enjoy their deserved top 10 finish.

1. Azúcar Moreno - Postureo
I don't believe Spain would be resending these lovely ladies, and I doubt the 2022 Europe would reward them in the finals... but I am bewitched anyway :)

Amazing job Spain, I am proud of you!

I'm forever and always Team Tetas, even though Tanxugueiras and Rayden would also make great Spanish entries (though I think the latter would be likely to flop in Turin).

Its based on Rigoberta winning, not the rest.If she fails price will drift out.

That at ESC Tanxugueiras and Rayden are right side of the scoreboard and will have no mass voter appeal,Rigoberta if done right is certain left side.
You might be right when you say Rigoberta can be successful at Eurovision, one never knows, but I wonder why you’re so sure about the flop of the others. They are not bad songs! You haven’t even seen any live performance yet, and it can change anything. At least for me.

With all due respect I think you underestimate Eurovision and its viewers.

There is no right or wrong formula, and Europe is tired of "Swedish-Americanized" radio-Pop by the dozens that has no authenticity or European soul, if anything last year made that clear.

People said the same about Go_A last year, that it was too "local" and "odd" and only would be celebrated by the fans... yet they came second in the televote.

They are great entries, and its a fantastic selection,i just dont see the rest being vote magnets at ESC.We will only know what happens to the one that wins of course. The price at the bookies though is because gamblers see Rigoberta as a potential flyer in Turin.Staging might swing who wins the selection.Should be very entertaining, and good to see Spain taking this big step forward.

Last year was hugely radio friendly, just authentic rather than forced.I win thousands gambling on it every year and have for 15 years, its my job to understand it.
