Llegó la mami
La reina, la dura, una Bugatti
El mundo está loco con este party
Si tengo un problema, no es monetary
Yo vuelvo loquito’ a todos los daddies
Yo siempre primera, nunca secondary
Apenas hago doom, doom
Con mi boom, boom
Y le tengo dando zoom, zoom
Por Miami

Y no se confundan
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazones
Solo existe una
No hay imitaciones (Na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, morе, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suеlo, lo, lo, lo, lo (Yeah)
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video, watch it slo mo

Te gusta todo lo que tengo
Te endulzo la cara en jugo de mango
Se te dispara cuando la prendo
Hasta el final, yo no me detengo
Take a sip of my cola-la
Un poco salvaje na-na-na
Make it go like pa-pa-pa-pa
Like pa-pa-pa-pa-pa

Y no se confundan (Y no se confundan)
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready (Yo siempre estoy ready)
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazone’
Solo existe una (Solo existe una)
No hay imitaciones (Na, na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo (Oye)

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more

Is Spain the most 'meh' ESC top 5 country these days? I mean, at least UK brings the drama with how shit it is, and Germany are good to despair at, and they've at least had a recent-ish(ISH) win and a top 5 a few years ago. I always find Spain's entries completely safe and bland, and they're not even fun to laugh at...
I totally agree with you. I have been a Eurovision fan (formerly known as freak) since I was a kid and in recent years I lost all interest in the Festival just because my country chose so very badly. The songs chosen ranged from horrible to completely lame.

I do not know what are the rules in Eurovision but in recent years I have seen more and more digital effects on the performances, like camera tricks (that is things not happening on stage that can only be seen on tv). I really hope they change.

Tumblr, mostly.
Spanishfans not realizing that if Rigoberta pulls *that* trick off in Turin, she just get's DQ'd on the spot lmfao xheart

Her BEST odds are going for something similar without getting DQ'd is a Manizha-styled backdrop of women painted in the Delacroix Style (conform with the lyrics of her song) but does she (or RTVE) even have the foresight of coming up with this?

Well, I have changed my idea about "Ay Mama". I really like the vibe and the message. However, it could be a hit or miss.
Although, Rayden is still the best option.

Spain does have a few options to end up being Top 10 in Eurovision - finally!
If they really chose Rigoberta, they better don´t moan about finishing >18 again.

I can´t believe that entry is #1 in the betting odds... making it win the NF would be a huge mistake!

Wouldn't some of the words need to be changed if "Ay Mama" won, as the word "tits" would be considered vulgar under the ESC rules?

Imo it comes down to what the Spanish want to achieve this year in ESC. Do they want to choose a song that they like or do they want to see a good result? If it's the first then they can pick "Ay Mama" since they like it so much, however they shouldn't expect that the rest of Europe will like it too, as I've seen very few people outside of Spain saying that they like it and even them aren't half as excited as the Spanish.

They will essentially do the same Norway did last year, by choosing the artist that they like the most over entries that could give them a better result. However Norwegians had pretty good result the previous years + a televoting win and they didn't really seem to care about the result of their entry. Spain this year, supposedly revived this festival in order to change approach in ESC and try to get better results an be more competitive after a series of pretty bad results. So while I can't say for sure that "Ay Mama" will flop and get bottom 5, it is pretty likely that while happen + they have a decent selection and there are entries that have a lot more potential and are better songs.

In the swimming pool, always stayin' cool
As much as i LOVE Ay Mama (and as much as i would love to see it in Turin, but other options are fine with me), i quite agree that it may not be the best choice for Spain this year. When i see the reactions even in the Eurobubble, people disliking this song REALLY do, so i already imagine how the public reception will be divided, turning into a failure, just as Conan Osiris back then. Telemoveis was a masterpiece tho

On and on, the best option seems to be Rayden imo, in terms of composition and of "novelty" i would say. I don't think Spain ever brought a song like this in the contest, at least not fitting in any case they brought to the contest. Or, in the same way, Tanxugueiras (despite my little concerns about the song), regarding on the live version i've got quite big expectations for.

My fears:
- Terra’s performance not being good enough compared to my -really high- expectations.
- The fandom behind Terra and Ay Mamá preventing people from being unbiased. No matter how great the other performances are, people have already decided their winners and the show won’t change it.
- The Spanish jury voting massively for Ay mamá for non-musical reasons, feeling pressured by the fandom or in order to support the #freethenipple activism / voting massively for Terra despite a possible disappointing performance because of political reasons as well (the debate about regional languages is very active in the last months due to a judicial sentence in Catalonia).

Hope you won't be disappointed with "Terra" and join me with the tambourine in the hand, while dancing in the open air, down the narrow streets of the Galician picturesque town... xlove xheart

Guys Benidorm is supposed to be the fest of the music song and not a national selection. If they change the original idea of this format then Benidorm will be a whatever Melfest in Latin sauce. I'm feeling that they are going in a wrong direction. Editing songs months before, adding international judges to the jury makes me think TVE is leaning too much towards a simple national selection for ESC than a Spanish music festival.
I think that Spanish public and juries, Spanish fans too, should consider what it feels real Spanish and not something with Spanish flavor but esc friendly.

I'm not sure about this. The word "tetas" obviously looks like the English "tits" but, in terms of intensity, as a taboo word it's more like "boobs."

If (Heaven forfend!) this track were chosen and the EBU did complain, she could just replace "tetas" with "pechos" ("breasts") and problem solved.

That's my mammary-related language lesson for this evening. Thank you.
