Quite the contrary for me... I was sure he would try to serve us some Doredos realness...

Well I didn't really have a proper expectation, except maybe for something like in the NF. I'm all for this Doredos with an upstairs. Hopefully it comes across as really fun and not messy.

My favorite part of this entry by a country mile is how Miki himself is such a frantic ball of spontaneous energy. I hope this elaborate set doesn't mean a bunch of restrictive choreography is coming.

Pictures from staging. Fokas is pretty inconsistent. He is capable of serving flops (hello Demy and Aisel) but when he gets it right, he gets it RIGHT. This seems to be the case with Spain this year.

As I said before ‘huge, colourful, meaningful and non-stop’. That was unexpected but I can’t wait to see it live

Alright first of all let me say that this is AMAZING. I didn't expect that.

Now something about Fokas Evangelinos. He IS NOT inconsistent. Since 2004 (when he started his career in Eurovision), 4 of his entries have finished in the top 10, 5 have finished in the top 3 and 2 have won. He only ever had two "flops": Demy and Aisel. But they weren't his fault. Azerbaijan's song was weak and uninspiring and without him it would have finished much lower in the semi. Greece's song was better but still weak and the vocals weren't exactly perfect. So yeah I trust him, he is doing a great job and I hope he continues his career as a stage director in Eurovision for as long as he can

Not a fan of the background screen (except for 0:35-1:02), but this song is so full of life it can't be anywherelse than in my top 3.

I would have expected some more colourful staging. Instead of those dark colours, it would have made it much cooler with bright orange, yellow and blue actually, more like the colour pattern of Italy 2016. But still I am excited for this. If San Marino doesn't make it (which is more likely), I'll be rooting for Spain in the final

So many colours and I still think it looks too dark But fun performance, that swagger leg move literally kicking off the final chorus.
