Barei! xlove Met her yesterday and as soon as I said I'm from Greece, she replied "I'm sorry" (for Greece not making it). To which I responded "it's ok. I don't care" She's lovely and really friendly!

*soft spot for Spain alert*

I didn't like the new version of the song but after yesterday, I got back on board because of Barei! So VAMOS!

Barei on British TV - 'I don't think it's fair [Big 5 qualifying automatically]. I want to compete like the others.'

:be: just showed how to make a good stage for an energetic funk song. The Spanish team should learn a bit...

They did it with a terrible song. I wonder why is it so difficult with a quite decent one... xgaah

Spain is still 16th in the odds (over Latvia, Hungary or Croatia). That's a real miracle and not the Azerbaijani song!

I was about to say the same! I loved the Belgian act. Nice, well-tuned back singers, lovely moves... great performance! RTVE does not clearly want to make any single effort in this contest.

#18 RUSSIA
#19 SPAIN
#20 LATVIA

SVT really loves us, don't they?

At least #19 is our lucky number. Pastora and Ruth came top-10 from that spot

It doesn't really matter, wherever Spain is allocated it will struggle to shine by itself with that staging anyway.
Czech Republic didn't have problems to stand out performing after Russia btw.

Nevertheless,I wish the best to Barei

I agree with that. Actually, I didn't expect anything above 20th place even before the staging. But it does matter ;)

Actually the performance routine planned probably wouldn't look too out of place on that stage either

The beginning of Ukraine's performance really reminds me of this stage

My runner-up. I wouldn't mind seeing this win at all, and I think Spain do have a high chance of taking it home, or atleast placing within top 10.

Whenever I hear this, I think to myself WHY NO XUSO?! I guess that means it's not one of my favourites  And those legs of Barei have a mind of their own :p Best of luck Spain but I'm afraid you'll have to wait till next year for my support ;)

Final Verdict
:es:
6 points
Position I want: 18th
Position I think: 18th

Suuuuuure

Well, at least most of the reviews of the jury rehearsal have been quite more positive (not difficult though, cause we've been absolutely bashed), so I hope we can reach anything above 20th.

I had only watched the small part of her performance they showed on the first semi. So I got to watch the whole performance and I have to say that she looked VERY stressed on stage! I really hope tonight there will be more energy! She also said in the press conference on 8th of May that in the Spanish final she screamed all that "vamonos" and "whoooooohooo" but not in Eurovision coz she had to contain herself. I say go with the "vamonos" and all the rest! The song NEEDS these things! It's a happy song! We need more energy on that stage! She also needs to smile more. I really hope tonight she won't be as stressed.

Buena suerte Barei! xlove Vamonos!

There was definitely energy, pretty enjoyable for that. Even though there are better vocals I think.
