NO way! We always translate our songtitle but we are singing 100% in Spanish, we are too proued of our language to sing in English, even though if that means we will never get a top10 placing haha XD

I hope you're right, but then again people have argued the same about France and Italy, and they're both going down the bi-lingual route now.

Spain is different , trust me

They did the same in 2009 (The night is for me), 2010 (Something tiny), 2011 (They can´t take the fun away from me) and none of them were sung in English, not even bilingual

True...

Anyways I just double-checked, the lyrics are there and they are fully in Spanish (Thank God).

However in the Italian case, the lyrics are not added yet, and their English part of the title is no translation, so in that case it's 100% bi-lingual I guess.

The video clip is up now on Patora's channel. I don't know why they take them down. They lose views!

Don't worry about the language. We did the same the previous years, just an English translation of the title ;)

And about the video... I saw one friend of mine asked Pastora on Twitter and she replied. She said she has no idea of what happened and she will ask. It will be sue to something else, but not because they will change the language ;)

OK guys I know what happened.

They want to stick with just one video, so that it will keep more views. Since Warner Music has the rights, they decided to stick with the clip they uploaded. Warner Music is in contacts with eurovision.tv and TVE in order to re-upload the videoclip from Warner channel :)

Spain is so lucky with their wildcards! Great draw for Pastora especially since Azerbaijan will some songs before her.

I think a top 10 placing for Spain is a huge possibility at this point! :)

NEW INTERVIEW WITH PASTORA SOLER IN EUROVISION-SPAIN (summary)

Francis Viñolo (I think we all know him from the NF cause he is Pastora's husband ) will be in charge of the scenography.

Feferico Llano, head of Spain Delegation, could choose yesterday the 19th for the Spanish performance. What do you think?
I was quite ignorant about this. I'm discovering everything step by step. I even watch 2009, 2010 and 2011 ESC. It's clear to me that the audience keeps more the last places. I didn't want to perform last cause the audience could be tired of too information. So I'm quite happy.

Did you talk to Federico Llano about the place to choose?
No, never. It could have been a mistake. However, everything's been alright cause I wanted to perform between #17 and #20. That was my margin. And finally Federico chose what we wanted. In addition, he has much experience about the best places to perform. And look at this, when things go well, finally luck is with us.

Do you think Germany performing next can make an influence?
It's a strong country. The perfect thing would be not to have similar entries around mine, a strong ballad with female voice. I think it's more problematic who performs before, cause it's so difficult to come to stage after a great performance. German proposal has nothing to do with ours and that's good. We must be afraid of coming next to another ballad, but we don't know yet.

What do you think about UK opening the final?
Opening the festival is not that bad. During the first performance mind is open and fresh. And the UK, also, sends the mytic Engelbert Humperdinck a veteran and experienced singer. I don't think it will make a bad influence on me, but I wouldn't like to sing first due to nerves.

One of the reasons Federico Llano gives to choose 19th place is Azeri victory last year. Can you see yourself as winner?
Federico Llano called me after the draw and I asked him if he chose that place because Azerbaijan's victory last year and he said he did. Maybe he chose that place as a symbol, but I don't see myself as the winner, and I am not going to use the political argument. I think there is a lot of quality, great entries that will multiply their potential in the contest, cause we will all try to make the best performance, and the songs will sound better live. I have my own ranking and Sweden is the biggest rival. We share composer and that's a honour for me, cause I love Loreen and Euphoria. I also like very much the ballad from Slovenia. Indeed, there are countries with important entries.

What about being so high in the betting odds?
I'm a bit afraid that people could create very high expectatives, cause as I said, there are candidates with quality and talent. But I know it's something positive that people like the song.

The videoclip of Quédate conmigo was shown last Monday, how do you feel people received it?
I'm happy. I already said it was a simple videoclip due to hurry. We could have made a more developed version with more time. But when you don't have many resources, the best option is to choose something simple and an emotional interpretation. We wanted to play with the dancers making their movements slower with a "last technology" camera, symbol of a couple playing with each other. A simple and modern videoclip, not being pretentious.

Now it's time to keep working...
Yes, I will work at 100%. Now the most beautiful part is left. All these months have been full of hard work and decission with very few time. Now everything has to be easier. We have already decided the back-vocalist, they are wonderful and are already rehearsing. They are very powerful voices. We combinated a lot during the auditions because there were many good people, and finally we chose the most powerful voices.

Which are the next steps?
Now we're getting all possible ideas and information. I am watching with my team videos and lightnings to get an emotive performance. The song has achieved to touch many people, and we have to make it the best possible way in Baku, with no pretentions, choosing simplicity, making it touching. It is decided that Francis Viñolo will be in charge of scenography. We will take the time we need. I don't want to prepare a performanace in ten days. We have to send our ideas to EBU, how we want the final climax, but not everything. So, we will think a lot about the performance, cause it's good not to be late with proposals about lightning and technical needs.

You know wardrobe is very important too...
I know, cause the hairstyle and make-up will depend on the wardrobe, and according to the colour will depend the lightning. I want to have the dress colour clear in 20 days at the most. We are seeing many proposals and don't reject any fashion designer, national or international.

Are you considering putting any element in the performance?
We are considering different options. The problem is that we don't know yet if there are backgrounds or not, but we will consider any idea which makes the highest moment bigger. We are looking for much information and consulting professionals who are number one in scenography and lightnings in Spain and are in charge of important tours and have made quite relevant TV performances.

I tried to do my best here.... quite a tough work
The most important thing: she is taking everything so seriously and in a very professional way. I'm sure we will be proud of the final result :)

I think Spain is outstanding this year. Pastora Soler is the best artist they've sent in years! This deserves a great placing.
