I still don't understand all the fuse about this song, Many people say that it will win......i don't get it... :|
It's a nice ethnic(?) song, and the girl is very beautiful, but i don't think that it will win.... :|

There aren't so many people that say it will win.
However, it is considered a dark horse. It has a great melody and beautiful lyrics, but her voice is nothing special and the whole "tree" theme might be considered strange.
So, it depends on the song presentation and performance whether it will stand out or not.

So she starts all dressed-up like Ruslana and finishes as Helena Paparizou?. She should have been dressed-up like Lordi in the middle.

What do you mean about piano version?

I heard it a few weeks ago and it's amazing! Even this version would do well at ESC. Undoubtfully, the original verison will also make it this year :) By the way, do you know anything about performance? Will they keep the costumes and coreography?

Exactly.

This is a song where the stage performance will make or break it. I predict an easy Top 10 placement, though. The juries will eat it up.

The best song of ESC2010, and best Slovak entry ever, I liked Petra Humenanska - Rosa Rosi ; Martina Schindlerova - Možeš ist' ; Mayo - Ton and Barbora Šulikova - ?elny Naraz (but she was DSQ...)

I like it. I unfortunately think people are fooling themselves when saying Slovakia is a possible winner. Not to do with the quality of the song, because they just won't get any votes.

Nela and Kamil last year were truly spectacular, perhaps the greatest vocal abilities in the competition, and if they didn't pass from the Semi, I doubt Slovakia ever will.

It is a shame though.

To the vast majority though the slovakian entry in 2009 was just an utter mess though despite of strong vocals.
Slovakia was at the bottom of pretty much all bookies while 2010 is obviously not. I'm not quite sure what you mean when you say "they won't get any votes".
Can you clarify that statement?

Sure, and I don't want anyone thinking I'm anti-Slovakia, or against this song; 'cus I would love for Kristina and Slovakia to pass to the Final. Nela and Kamil were one of my favourites last year, and in my personal Top 5 also.

I just think in terms of Eurovision; some countries will always get votes, no matter what they send; Greece, Russia, Turkey, to name three, but there are some countries, who, no matter who or what they send will never get many votes at all, or never enough to make an inpact; Andorra, Monaco, Czech Republic, Poland, Montenegro, and hastily add Slovakia to that list.

I also think that some countries partially belong on the above list, besides having one, what people would class as a 'stand-out' year; Bulgaria, Slovenia, Belgium, Cyprus, etc. - the countries who each year struggle to pass from the Semi.

:)

Don't get me wrong though, I would love to be proven wrong and for Slovakia to qualify!
