I hope RTVSLO obliges people to sing in the language the songs have been submitted in, otherwise I unstan, unfollow her, don't know her anymore and exclusively root for René, INMATE and Zala.
Raiven, if you read this thread: cut the bs, pull yourself together and reconsider. You can't do this to your superfans: it's KAOS or CANCEL.
Same, "No One" is my 2011 winner. Still, I resent Maja for throwing "Vanilija" in the bin. It was even better in Slovenian imo. Sadly, she already had international ambitions (to finally disappear and do nothing in Sweden...).
But the context is different here, Raiven has two songs in English (that she never promoted) in her repertoire, the rest is in Slovenian. I remember an article from last year where she claimed singing in Slovenian was a way to stand out because everyone sings in English nowadays, and she had gotten used to writing and singing in her mother tongue anyway, so she didn't feel the need to resort to English.
So what is the truth? I thought "Hvala, Ne!" would actually validate her decision to stick to Slovenian like she did until now. Translating the song will inevitably make it lose some of its charm and mysteriousness. Not only that, but it kind of goes against what she claims to stand for. I'm disappointed she even contemplates this possibility.
And no, I'm not overreacting. It's just not a move that I expected from her.
thanx for pics! I didn't know that EMA is already in full swing. I am not sure I understand what is your issue with your godess Raiven, but I am glad to hear you are rooting for Zala & Gašper. I can't wait to see what they will do on stage. Their staging will either elevate the song or totally kill it. Of course, I am hoping the former will happen. I am really getting nervous. And honestly, I cannot understand who roots for Kim. It is a decent song, but it is soooooo generic that the head hurts. Talk to you guys

I really like your NF lineup this year: René, INMATE, Zala & Gašper, and Raiven are my faves. Pity only one song will go to Tel Aviv when other countries shamelessly send garbage.
I agree with you about Kim. Her song is catchy, accessible and perfectly acceptable as a Eurovision entry, but it really is on the safe side. If there were no other credible alternatives, I guess this would be the one to go for, but that's not the case imo. I like her voice a lot, I wish she had a better song actually.
