The barren ESC wasteland of the USA
FINALLY! After years of getting it wrong and even more wrong, Slovenia sent an amazing song that they can be proud of! This song is just hands down amazing! I just can't help but love it! Everytime i've done my ESC 2011 Rankings, it's more often than not been First, and when it doesn't top my charts, it ALWAYS gets into the top 3! It's just sooo perfect! I love every single thing about this song. Maja is just an absolutely brilliant performer and this song is just built for her. UGH! I just can't get enough of it! If it doesn't get through to the Final, it will be a failure of Belgium 2006 proportions! I can't believe it's not doing amazingly well in the Pre ESC voting! I mean it has everything anyone could ever want! Right?

Yes Granthems the song has everything anyone could ever want but you must consider the fact that this song Represents Slovenia. With this I mean to say, that just passing the semifinals would be a a victory and I am also sure that If this song came from another big country it would reach at least 3rd place in the final. It was said over and over again but still, If Slovenia doesn't reach the final this year with brilliant Maja, well...then it never will.

On this point I'd like to contradict you, Nienor. I think that we, Slovenes, always feel too small to compete with other, bigger countries in a competition like Eurovision. No matter what our song is like, we accuse all others instead of admitting to ourselves that the song we sent to Eurovision is poor and not good enough to get to the Finals. This year, we've chosen the right song, which will be performed by a very talented and gorgeous woman and I believe we will get through the Semi. Anyway, all I want to say is that we really should stop thinking about our place in Europe, about our smallness ... that should not be and I reckon it is not a barrier -> if the song is good, the final place will be good. We've seen many small countries winning or being on top places on Eurovision before and we should start to believe in our performers, in ourselves. I mean, we can't blame Europe and our smallness if we don't succeed with a piece of ... If we're not capable of sending the right song, we should face the truth and admit to ourselves that no one is responsible but us (ex. 2009, 2010).;)

^ I agree! :) Besides look at Serbia 2007! ;) Anyone can win Eurovision. You just need a great song and this year "No One" is fantastic, Maja is fantastic so I see an easy top 10. :) Go Slovenia!

I really don´t know, why this song has 86x12 points. I know, tastes are different, but I heard it many times now but it doesn´t grow up with me.
But I wish Slovenia all the best - after the desastroes song of last year, it would be great to reach the final and it has good chances, because it seems ,that many people like this song.

This is my favourite but I have a bad feeling about this, just like Feminnem last year. If it qualifies I promised a friend of mine that I will wear a T-shirt with Dinamo Bucharest for a week

I also have the same "Feminnem" feeling :( Hope I'm wrong and you guys qualify. I really like the song and this is probably the best Slovenian entry :D

Compared to Femminem's song which was in Croatian and thus giving it a more Balkan appeal, this song has a more pan-European appeal. "No One" being sung in English will help her a lot. Also, the whole vibe of the song is not region specific. I like her, and her song. I really do hope that she doesn't flop. She's the most beautiful singer this year, and songs like these are what makes me love Slovenia in Eurovision.

If this doesn't qualify I won't eat Hot Cheetos for a week lol.

Yes, I like the song too, but I don't have a positive feeling about the result at all. I smell "flops" pretty good in the last period, but I hope I will be wrong about Slovenia this year, as I like the song.

Phhh I love this song It is my top 5, the stage interpretation will make my decision but I think, that this song can win my vote and I think that will have the Iceland 2009 effect ... On the other hand, I'm affraid that this song will not be voted, I also have the Feminem feeling, but also Slovakia 2009 ( maybe 2010 too )... That's sad, because this year small countries have the best song ( in my opinion, Slovenia, Estonia and Albania) ... I will vote for Slovenia :)
