so, Maja confirmed they'll get rid of the dancers because of the negative feedback looks like they really listen to public reactions, maybe there is still a chance at least for a small part of the song in slovene probably not, but who knows... my opinion is that all those half-half variations make songs too confusing and inconsistant...

I like this song a lot. I'll definitely tell my relatives across Europe to vote for Slovenia this year.
And I don't want the dancers to go away! The one with the short hair gives me even more to look at.

Well, if they actually listened to public reactions they'll keep the Slovene version, since it seems most of the public wants that.

So nope, I don't see them listening that much really.

Afterall a language change is much more crucial for an entry than dancers or not.

i welcome idea about banning the dancers. they were just too stupid Maja is enough elegant that she and back vocals make very nice performance without some stupid kitsch.
and please, don't sing half in slovenian and half in english. if you need, sing it in english (but imo the best would be in slovenian, it sounds amazing)

I hope the English version of the song will be better (just like Yohanna's English version, which I am starting to eat my words and believe it is fantastic) than the Slovenian, because I don't really click with the Slovenian version. When will she release the English version of the song?

I'm indifferent about language choice as a rule. I'd prefer to hear the native languages sung but if the artists want to perform in English then that is their prerogative. It rarely works well, though. Case in point: Yohanna's song sounds great in Icelandic with much better lyrics and clumsy in English, even though the Icelandic came after the English version.

The winners of 9 out of 10 songs in the last decade sang their songs in English. I think that makes it clear as to what's preferred in the contest. Just look at last year's results; the top 7 were all songs that were sung ENTIRELY in English.

Strictly speaking only 7½ out of the last 10 were. 2004 was only half in English and 2010 was in Klingon from the sound of it.

Just look at last year's results; the top 7 were all songs that were sung ENTIRELY in English.

Well we can partly thank the juries for that and also there weren't that many non-English entries last year, and now for a second year in a row with juries the decline is even bigger.

Uhm, no. If you look at the points given by Juries and points given by Televoters in last years' competition, 13 out of the top 15 in the Televoting results were completely in English, while the Juries' results had 10 songs out of the top 15 completely in English.

The switch to more English songs is because of success with entries in English, not because of juries.

It'll definetly be in English and the title is "No one" like mentioned before. They made two versions of it: one is very similar to Vanilija (almost the same) and one is a little bit different (more r'n'b). I think and I hope that they won't change an entry too much!
