I just saw a bit from the first semi again and sound in semi final 2 was so much better its a joke. All songs sounded horrible in semi 1 while sound was great in semi 2. Hope this means Hungary still has a chance to win now that the sound has apparently been fixed.

This semi was really interesting. I was shocked like everyone after all the envelopes were opened. Georgia was the best of the night, they really rocked! :) Also i'm very happy because Iceland qualified :) It wasn't expected.

in the first semifinal of the technical problems with televoting was impossible to vote for the first 5 ideas to those who vote for them come to an answer about how the voting has been completed write about it a lot of people from different countries! required to re-host the first semi-fina

Sounds to me like the EBU did us a favour, not being able to vote for the first 5 songs for half an hour. Apart from Poland (who sang off key anyway) they were some of the worst Eurovision songs EVER!

Dodooo, if u can vote from the beggining its very normal that u vote at the beggining, not later. So many people voted at the beggining and they expected that their vote will be counted. They didnt know that the line is blocked and their vote is not accepted.

5 countries were injured because of 30 minutes of blocked line.

But of course, EBU is always right so they are not suprised that in those 5 countries were 4 favorites

for the first 5 countries could not vote. I find it unfair that the songs like Norway Turkey and Albania are done away with so .. we want a second chance for countries that have been submerged from your mistakes otherwise you have to recognize that Germany eurovision 2011 failed

This is a really controversial idea and I'm apparently the only one who think this - I think the televoters and juries didn't like the Norway, Poland and Armenia songs. Just a thought. I know it's unlikely, because everyone knows for a fact that it was rigged so that those countries wouldn't get to the final. But maybe, just maybe those songs just weren't voted for as much as those that got through because they just weren't liked as much. *sarcasm off*

Now I am pretty confused cause "not being able for..." is something diffrent than "not being able from..." countries. I think that it is highly possible Polish votes in televote were not counted because in rules of televoting for TVP it is said: "Doesn't matter if the vote was in time or not, operator has to send a confirmation about the result of the vote" - I have no confirmation of my vote for Lithuania for...hmm...3 full days now.

Also Polish media gave us 2 informations, I am pretty sure national TVs have results from EBU so may be possible: Lithuania was 2nd and Poland was 16th. If bottom 5 is formed from Poland, Armenia, Turkey, Norway and Albania - this would be pretty funny ;)

As far as I know, the voting is not organised by EBU, there is no unified voting system. It's each countries own responsibilty. If you were unable to vote in Poland it's your local operator's fault.

Yes, I know, but this is not what I meant. I hope tommorow night it would be revealed which countries used jury, and which ones used televote & jury. The second sentence was about things I heard in Polish public media. One source is worldwide channel TVP Polonia and program called "Polska24" and the other was Polish National Radio 3rd programm. However if lines were closed, numbers could be inactive. There were rumours as well that San Marino used jury, because... they put commercials during recap, so even though there was televotes, they did not count them - way to go San Marino

Only got to watch the 1st semi yesterday (praise the Lord for Digicorders :D).

My 10 favourites on Thuesday were (in random order and purely based on the performance that night):

Armenia
Azerbaijan
Finland
Georgia
Iceland
Portugal
Russia
Serbia
Switzerland
Turkey

7 out of 10 that actually qualified isn't a bad score!

Biggest surprises for me were Turkey and Armenia not qualifying and Lithuania qualifying (though I liked the song, I found it a bit too Disney for Eurovision). As for Norway... I think we can be clear about that... it sucked (at least, the live-version did).

It's absolutely incredible that Poland went last. And Norway 17 ? And Turkey, Albania and Armenia were under Malta, which was at 1 point from qualification? OMG.....

Because people probably liked more songs who were in the second semi or pre-qualified, it happens sometimes.

Sorry about that, I misunderstood your post when I read it the first time and then edited mine.
