Am I the only one who doesn't think that Norway will qualify tonight? I guess so. Well, I think that all the "certain qualifiers" (Russia, Turkey, Greece, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, but Finland could qualify instead of Georgia) and Serbia, Switzerland, Hungary and Poland will qualify tonight - I don't think there'll be too many surprises.

I'm bad at predicting, though. I only got 7/10 right last year.

I hope Lithuania can pull it off. That song is heavily underestimated, along with Croatia. Lithuania has a great draw order and surely they scored well with the judges yesterday!

I love the HUngarian entry and not only want it to go through I want it to win the final (or come 2nd to the UK lol) but I am concerned that it won't qualify because in every rehearsal performance I've seen so far the STAGING has been awful - including critically losing the backing element. I look forward to it being alright on the night

My first post this whole season. I was terrible at betting for the semis last year (but I had a good streak in the final).

Turkey, Russia and Greece will qualify because they are Turkey, Russia and Greece and they always qualify. I think we are all pretty much in agreement on those 3. Turkey and Russia are okay, sadly the Greek song is quite rubbish because of the terrible rapper. I don't mind rap and hip hop. I just don't like BAD rap.

Hungary will qualify cause I can see this song having a very broad appeal. She would have to fail miserably to miss the final.
Azerbaijan has a catchy tune and additionally gets quite some friendly votes, so there should also be no doubt about it.

I'm really sure about those 5 above.

I think Norway, Georgia, Serbia and Armenia will also make it. More gut feeling, but good enough for me to bet some money on all of them. Norway is catchy and different then all other songs here. Same goes for Georgia and Serbia. Armenia is Armenia and for some reason they always make the final.

I think the last spot will be a battle between Finland, Iceland, and Poland. I would say Finland is the most likely of those three.
As much as I like some of the other entries (I'm looking at you Switzerland, San Marino and Portugal) I think they all have to much weaknesses in their composition and are basically just not memorable enough (Switzerland, San Marino) or too strange (Portugal) to get a lot of votes.

So, as a summary those will go to the final (not in any order):
Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Norway, Serbia, Turkey and Finland (alternatives for Finland: Iceland, Poland).

I really hope my favourites will qualify to the final, but I don’t think all of the will qualify. There are a lot of things which will effect votes.. First of all, a lot of people will hear the songs for the first time. And there is also a jury. So, everything can be surprising. But, I’m sure that I'll have big shocks like every year...
I’m very excited for tonight. I hope, everything will be so great! Have fun with watching Europe’s favourite TV show! =)

Well I have the fizz on ice, the nibbles ready and the phone and scorecard to hand. Everything done for work in the morning so no distractions. I am excited just like a kid on Christmas morning - except for the bubbly - that would be wrong....

1.Azerbaijan-they are definitelly the favs of this semi-final and one of my favs too
2.Hungary-I like her voice and the song is pretty memorable even if many in here dont like it
3.Russia-just cause it qualifies every year i kinda like the song too
4.Greece-I dont like it this year.the 1st year I dont like Greece but it will qualify for sure,i have a feeling about it
5.Turkey-dont like it but again it qualifies every year
6.Serbia
7.Poland
8.Norway-catchy song
9.Switzerland-i love her voice
10.Finland or Albania-not sure

This is it..i would like Croatia to qualify too tho,but I kinda doubt it thats why not in my predictions
