Lmao people thinking Freaky would stand a chance in the semi over Obsessed.

BOTH would finish last in a heartbeat.

I strongly disagree both songs are very modern and although the style is very retro these kind of songs have been very popular in the last years.
Freaky for example is a solid and fun retro disco song with attitude and that could have been part of Lizzo's next album

Yes, but you're assuming Senhit can carry it live and I believe that might be a misjugdment on your behalf.

I have no doubts about Senhit's charisma (I like "Stand by" only because I really like Senhit herself! She seems like a neat lady!), but her live vocals have always been a bit shaky. "Stand by" was an easy, low-tempo song and she struggled with it. I can only imagine what a disaster a live rendition of a bouncy, uptempo disco track would be like.

Like... if Finland, Denmark and Portugal pick the acts everyone expects them to pick (all three of which are easy qualifiers), things might not look very hot for Senhit.

To me, "Freaky!" is bubbly, bouncy, sassy-ish and in line with the disco history of San Marino, it would be the perfect choice imo. It could potentially make it in my personal top 10 even. It gives me a slight Kylie Minogue vibe and I appreciate the purposefully messy finish it has.

On the contrary, I feel "Obsessed" is way too mid and not-doing-enough. It's just decent, but we have plenty of "just decent" songs this year already.

In "Freaky!", I see more potential in terms of live and staging potential tbh. Now watch the other choice win.

Both songs would be okay and way better than what we got today. I for myself like "Obsessed" a bit more, but maybe "Freaky" is more for ESC. These songs (even though I am not a big fan of it, I admit) will mix up ESC - in a positive way.

It's official now: up to 15 Millionen people in Northern Italy will not be allowed/able to freely move around. All events (concerts, matches) are cancelled. Bars and restaurants can only open until 6 pm and ondy if they can make sure that there's enough space between all indiivusal guests (1 metre minimum).
