He needs to participate next year again, singing a song about social network, 100% focused on MIRC and Y!M.
I still wish he kept the ballad version, but still, the performance was great.

Wow, this was a complete transfer of blamage all over. At least he seemed to have fun, and that matters the most in the end.

I have absolutely no clue. xshrug Maybe they had some totally epic idea but then realized the reason why it was "never seen before on Eurovision stage" is simply because it was something physically impossible.

Maybe this was the first time, someone threw his hat away. xthink
At least one of that specific shape and color.

for some minutes I thought Serhat could qualify, but how I was naive. But still, I would have been happy if he went through, instead of Azerbaïdjan.

Well, after Serhat said in several interviews that we should prepare ourselves for some "big surprise" and "something never seen on Eurovision stage", I am quite disappointed. I expected something excitingly surreal and over-the-top, while this is just... a very conventional staging. :(
In an interview he said that he and his team worked on staging for a couple of months but when they arrived to Stockholm, SVT told them that it's not technically possible to do what they wanted to do, so they came up with what we saw yesterday in a few days.

Of course this didn't qualify, this was a very weird entry.

Send Valentina again next year, or clone her and send her clone. Actually we should keep a dozen of Valentina Monetta clones so she can represent San Marino forever until she wins.

I'm wondering what they had in mind.

Do you think most of the Turkish diaspora actually watch Eurovision?

Not actually, but they may hear it from the news. Serhat and Jamala were on news here when they were chosen, and most of Turkish diaspora still watches Turkish channels.
