They asked her who she thought would win ESC and her response was, "San Marino of course" jokingly and the presenter didn't let it slide and threw Azerbaijan in there.

Senit is getting ready for the final song presentation which will represent San Marino in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. According to www.escireland.com there are two songs submitted to the San Marino state television for Dusseldorf’s Eurovision edition. One song is up tempo dance song with a small part in English and main lyrics in Italian and the other is a powerful ballad half in English and half in Italian reminding the 2008 Norwegian entry.

The final decision will be made by SMRTV Eurovision team on March 11th. According to SMRTV’s Eddy Anselmy the song titles for Senit could be Il silenzio dell’amore and Passione movimento.

Hmm interesting, I like the fact that they'll use a big portion of Italian, I thought we'd get 100% English.

The latter style sounds more promising, but it depends. I'm not really fond of "powerful ballads" as in Eurovision it often means something tacky and oldfashion, but if it's in similar neo-retro style as the 2008 Norwegian entry it might be good, although that was midtempo not ballad.

But they compared it to Norway 2008 though, which I wouldn't even call a ballad in the first place.

It's BRILLIANT!!! I rank Number 7 for moment, but I will make my decision on whether San Marino is in my top 10 this year, but I would say so!!!

I really like this kind of music so I'm very happy with San Marino's song. Now I don't think that it's the kind of song people would vote for in a music contest but nevertheless...thumbs up from me
