Ι don`t think he has a personality dissorder. I think he is a person who loves him self more then people think it`s "accepted to love your self". Specially for eastern people loving yourself is like a tabu.

Usually confident people don't praise themselves in public because they already know their value and don't need to mention their good traits. Nothing wrong with loving yourself, narcissism though goes a bit further and is a self destructive behaviour.

Believe me (and your eyes ), he's a good persone, not perfect, but kind and nice persone. But he likes joking very much. And it's not always good (successfull) jokes.
