At MakSim there is no good voice and here sparrows very worthy choice plus it the good actor and show will turn out excellent. Get you one of the best song for all history participation Russia.

I agree with you about Israel, Greece and Cyprus...
Portugal??? No, they voted for us only 6 times of 12 possible.
From all "east block" the Czech Republic, Romania, Croatia and Serbia only showed their interest to a song from Russia often enough.
BIG thanks to Norway and Finland (who voted for Russia almost constantly - 8 of 13 and 7 of 10 times, accordingly).
And concerning the Baltic countries - don't forget that Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were a part of the USSR.

Live version is better than the studio. It's a good song, but is lacks something seriously. It's somewhere in my top 15, but I don't have strong desire to play it once it gets on turn in my Winamp

What can I say about this song, it's full of "whoooa" lines. Those are seriously the lines that stand out in the song, not the other more substantial lines. The melody is really fun, modern, and mids heavy. I think the melody is great, it gives you a good feeling. His voice isn't too bad, he actually sounds pretty decent on the yt vid. The mix of sounds, voice + instruments are well put together. I think this song will do well because of those factors, but that's just my opinion.

It is a good song for Eurovision and it will probably do very well. Russia gets great results every year, no matter what they send. But I think this will succeed not only because it's Russia, but because it is a great song. He is charismatic and good-looking and has a good song. So good luck, but not a winning song in my opinion.
