He did end up making a music video because the fans were asking for one. Not a bad effort taking into account he did this entire video himself without any help from TVR who couldn't seem to care less about doing any type of promotion this year. It even says in the description that the video was a self financed project.

Don't get me wrong, all of these covers are awful, but I do love when artists do these kinds of covers and really make the songs their own, so mad respect for that.

Edit: I didn't realise it was possible to do a worse performance of Solo than Blanka herself, so props for that too I guess...

Please can he participate for Sweden? I would even like the song in this version… actually all the songs are pretty good as cover songs.

Falls flat for me and hard. I do somewhat like the beat that the song is going for, but overall it's... eh. The parts right before the choruses are the weakest part, while the choruses themselves are the best part. The final chorus, however, is disappointing. Needed more power. And the singing at the end is quite annoying than anything.

Not big on his yellow outfit, it seems to restrict him and he appears oddly both overdressed and underdressed at the same time. Like, if you're gonna suit up, go all the way, he could just have gone with the revealing outfit he had in the NF instead. Still hoping our boy can make the final!

Yeah, when I saw that pic I also thought instantly "someone wants to make sure he really does not qualify“ … but it’s so funny, in a way. Look at the black fingerprints on his belly!

That rehearsal clip they showed is so bad. I actually think the song is okay and he can sing. But he's had absolutely zero support from the Romanian channel TVR which is pretty shameful from them. Just pull out of Eurovision if this is how TVR treat their artists.

I agree-it is a massive shame that he is getting a lack of support from the broadcaster. Didn't they basically give him a lack of funds and such or something too?

Thing is I agree-the song is alright and I do actually think he has a decent voice! It just isn't my favourite sadly.

I liked him most in the yellow suit, compared to the pink he wore in his 2nd rehearsal. So I hope he goes back to that.

Also, why have so many participants gone for pink this year? Did they all get inspired by Denmark?

It felt like WRS staging was done very cheaply last year but at least the broadcaster supplied him with a few dancers, I also liked his song.
This year it's a poor song and practically no staging which a song like that needs, it's like they've given up. Will we even see them in ESC 2024, I wouldn't be sure of it.
