As I’ve mentioned before, I simply can’t get around this song due to the cringeworthy lyrics. Sorry Romania.

That fake news lyrics every time they come up they bother me more and more each time I listen to the song. They irritate me so much that make me not like the song as much as I should have.

Good song but not winning material for sure.

7 points for the song as i said, minus 1 point for sebastian-ing cherry red to make sure it wouldn't win, so 6 points. this kind of karma comes back around, roxen.

Sorry but I'm not fan of it. It's just another freaking ballad and it's not even remarkable when you compare it with other ballads.

Ffs, and I was ready to put her on first place on my list with Cherry red... 🙄

Romania, you had ONE job. 🤦

I'm willing to put aside my feelings about this NF. Let's have a fresh start.

It was the best performed song tonight, my 2nd favorite overall. I could tell that she was into this, she was emotional during the performance, I hope they do something with the staging. 10pts

About the lyrics: I don't speak english that well, so I don't find them offputting. On the contrary, I find them special.

Roxen is absolutely stunning and I wish her all the best but I can already guarantee that everyone in Australia will either cringe or laugh at her once the fake news lyric comes up. Like...this one line just utterly destroys any attempt to create an ~atmosphere~.

Congratulations, Romania.
You are my new #1!

Just listened to the song a couple of times and I love everything about it - especially the lyrics. I can't understand why people think they are stupid.. the pun is actually very clever and I love the process of the lyrical I struggling to say "I love you" and getting sober/stronger throughout the song. Of course, it's no deep shit like "Arcade" or a complex and brilliant satire which was "Euro Neuro" but for a 3-minutes-pop-ballad, it's great and it will appeal to many (younger?) voters.

Well... I was just waiting for the confirmation... I have already said what I think about today's show, anyway Romania has a decent song.

I unexpectedly enjoy some parts of it but I don't think this is winning. People are comparing this with Arcade and I don't think this is at the same level of Arcade both musically and in terms of TV appealing. This is on Semi1 so everything is possible, the live presentation of the song has to be improved. I don't think this is safe in grand final tbh, I also see this a highly possible fanflop.

Another slow song xthink :6: or :7: probably, 1 or 2 more listens and I will have a verdict

Wish some people would look past the "another ballad" issue. Eurovision fans have come to a sad point where every uptempo song is a rehash of Fuego and every ballad sounds exactly the same. In 2014, the top 3 consisted of 3 ballads and they were nothing alike, yet each outstanding in their own way.

OT I think it's Billie influence done right. Not a blatant copy :sneaky: , but inspired and reflective of current pop trends. Will probably do well.

At this stage huge challenger to win ESC.This staging doesnt matter. It wont be repeated. It has a killer chorus and Roxen is so easy to vote for.Now they can get away from the national final etc they can engage some talent to stage it properly.Lith had a massive challenger to win but passed that up.Romania didnt.Bulgaria will be looking on here at Roxen taking this song,as it is probably a fly in the ointment of them winning themselves,.Im leaning towards the two most contemporary young female artists going head to head here in Bulgaria and Romania.Gamblers will of being backing as Romania drifted during the first songs knowing exactly what was happening.
You dont whip your horse too hard around Catterick when you know its winning, you save that for Aintree. What Bulgaria bring is likely now key to this years ESC.

I agree it's better if they change it, but it's really odd to see that it's just the native English speakers who seem to really have this down as a serious problem. For the rest of the world the lyrics to for instance Mimetaigne are just as cringy as anything else and we don't really give a damn. They're lyrics, who cares, they're sometimes a nice bonus but almost never really a problem.

Alcohol not for Romania this year, sorry...

This sounds boring, pretentious and dated. And compared to Dotter like a huge flop. I‘d rather go to prison in Moldova.

Fair enough but "dated"?! - It's one of few fresh-sounding and contemporary songs we currently have in Eurovision Oo

Easily the best song option they had, and so far the best song competing this year. I can totally see this winning the whole thing.
My nr.1 now (dethroning Armenia) and the easiest 12 I have given so far!
