Romania ROMANIA 2016 - Not taking part

Soooo, I've listened to all of the songs and I think Romania has got quite a good national final, even though I don't see a winner in this one (but hey, let's just wait for the visuals). Here is my ranking of the studio versions, of course this can change during the live broadcasting of the (semi) final:
1. Andra Olteanu - "Nai Nai" 10/10 (reminds me of Alexandra Stan, which I love)
2. Jukebox - "Come on everybody" 9/10 (I know this is weird but I love the Romanian sound here. The beginning is stupid though
)
3. Irina Popa - "Lasa ma, eu te las" 9/10 (a beautiful Romanian ballad - would love to see something like that at Eurovision)
4. Mihai Bajunara - "Never too late" 8/10
5. Dream Walkers - "Let It Shine" 7/10
6. Ovidiu Anton - "Moment of Silence" 7/10
= those six I see in the final, even though I don't think I'll be right with all of them.
7. Xandra - "Superhuman" 7/10
8. Florena - "Behind the Shadowns" 6/10
9. Doru Todorut feat. Irina Baiant - "The Voice" 5/10
10. Mihai - "Paradisio" 5/10
11. Vanotek feat. The Code & Gregorian - "I'm coming home" 5/10
12. Hayley Evetts - "Brand New Day" 0/10 (what a shitty song that wouldn't represent Romania at all... go back to the UK, Hayley!)
So for me, the line up is quite average, a lot of okaish songs in here. I'd like to see any of my Top3 at Eurovision. And call me nuts but I'd love to see Jukebox at Eurovision - it's a fun act and I don't think it would place in the Top10 but it would certainly be in mine

I know that there are some that can't wait to see Romania failing. Romania has big chances to fail if will send Hayley, but for sure it won't happen. There are few chances to fail if we send Irina Popa, Andra Oltean or, maybe, Mihai Bajinaru. Bad dunno that any of them will win the ticket. Romania can't fail with any other from the rest of 8.

Romania had a chance of failing with Voltaj as well, taking into consideration the stronger year in 2015. At this point I say we'll end up in a place as we did last year, if we do not send a total disaster, as Centrix said.

Really shocked how the views of M I H A I suddenly rose. :O God, pls dont send this! Everything but not him. To me Behind The Shadows is a masterpiece, but this NF seems to split everyone indeed.

Yes please. Not very fond of the others, this is the only stand-out track for me, it's fresh and I like it a lot. Florena is blah... I get so drained and exhausted when I hear this for more than 10 seconds, god forbid this being hyped :?

Here are my thoughts on first listen:
Nai Nai: I like this almost as much the thousandth time I've heard this song as I did the first time I heard this, i.e. not much.
Lasa-ma, eu te las: Oh my god I'm so ashamed of myself, but...I LOVE THIS!!!!
What an unoriginal piano ballad that's actually awesome. It's not like it's good; it's just really comfortable to listen to. I want to put this on repeat right after it finishes, but alas, I have more songs to get to.
Moment of Silence: Ok, good, I'm not going crazy. I know because this feels cheesy in a not-particularly-enjoyable way.
I'm Coming Home: What an off-kilter song. It is just past midnight, so I might just be feeling off. I guess the really weird, un-catchy tempo makes it a gutsy choice, but it also makes it something I don't want to listen to voluntarily.
Paradisio: HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. Awful/esome.
Come On Everybody: Absolutely magnificent in every way. Can totally see why everyone's panning it.
Never Too Late: A Richard Marx-style snoozefest.
Behind the Shadows: Give this to any other singer & I like it a lot, but god, her voice.
Brand New Day: I lasted 9 seconds.

I don't know why they felt like replacing her (yes,I know that rules are rules, but it's not like they have a bunch of great songs).
Hayley Evetts withdrew from Selectia Nationala due to "health problems"

I quote myself as Hayely isn't taking part in the NF anymore and Gasca de acasa are replacing her. It doesn't really change something on my Top though, Gasca de acasa just takes the same place Hayley had... which is the 12th. So still: Choose Andra, Jukebox or Irina Popa, please

Apparently it's because of a knee injury.... Lame excuse if it's true. We have seen a singer in a wheel-chair already. A knee problem seems to be quite small in comparison to that. ON the other hand maybe she has to go an operation at the time of the final?
