It's certainly a miracle how a song I at first hated and declared as trash (this literally was bottom of the pile for me along with Denmark, Spain and Estonia) I now enjoy very much. I still think the song is trash but I can't help but smile when I hear it. Paula & Ovi have charmed me once again. It's all about reaching that crazy piano bridge part of the song

I wouldn't mind a win for Romania tonight, so long as you keep to your Mona Mihaela Trifu for 2015 promise.

Tin sa ii felicit , au facut tot ce s-a putut! Un singur lucru nu mi-a placut, secventa pe care au aratat-o cand au prezentat intrarea Romaniei, la recapitularea cantecelor, chiar nu nota aceea lunga a Paulei era relevanta. Cand s-au recapitulat cantecele, in mod normal ar fi trebuit sa-ti aduci aminte de ele. N-a fost cazul Romaniei.

well, from whom to receive 12 if not from our brothers? A very common Romanian cliche says that Romanians are surrounded by only two friends: the Black Sea and the Serbs. We (almost) never receive points from our neighbors (Bulgaria, Hungary,Ukraine, neither Serbia), only Moldova gives us point so we can rest assured we’ll not finish last Nobody cares about being in top 5, but bottom 5 is a shameful experience.

It really surprises me to see such a big discrepancy between the jury members, although it's assumed that they are all specialists, so not so subjective like the public. How can a specialist consider Romania's entry the best (1st place) and other the worst (25 place) ? what "specialists" are those people?

For example, Ireland jury voting

Why do we have jury voting if they are no better in judging than the public? they are like us.

I had the same impression. Although Romania was one of my favourites everything seemed to be professionally planned. Started with, surely funny ment, "Semi-Final: check", said by Ovi with no relief or joy like other artists - up to their high professional stage show. They were embarrassed by neighbour-voting 12 pts from Moldova and I can understand.

Cluj is more in northwest Romania, rather than central. The city is oficially called Cluj-Napoca but we say Cluj, cause we are lazy. Napoca was added later in the '70 .In all medieval documents appear only Cluj.The name derives from the ancient Dacian name Napuca and the latin name "clastrum clus" Cluj (meaning a narrow, confined place).Romans build over a Dacian village when they came here in the 1st century.
